Our 12 week employment, teamwork and community skills programme is designed for anyone who needs help getting into future employment, education or training.

The 12 weeks of the course will be catered around gaining skills to help you with whatever you want to do with future and if you’re unsure as to what you want with your future, we are here to guide you with that too!

The course consists of:

A community project,
Work placement,
Supporting others in the community,
CV and interview skills workshops
Life skills sessions
Mental health support and guidance
Team building sessions
Money management qualification
Confidence building

❗️If you complete the course, you will be entitled to receive up to £100 in incentives ❗️you will also receive a qualification L1/2 in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills. The Princes Trust is a very recognised name to have on your CV and valued highly by employers 👍🏻

Happy Monday everyone! I know it‘s tough times but we’ve officially completed one week in lockdown, it’s probably felt like a lifetime for most of you however remaining positive, keeping yourself busy and occupied is the best thing to do and will make it an easier ride! There is light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going & we’ll all get there! 😇✨

First weekend in Isolation completed, hope you’re all keeping safe and well. Looking at the positive effect isolation is having on the world is bringing some light to the current situation. If you’re struggling to adjust, we’re just a message away. 🌍💙

Just some of our learners completing their Work Experience. This part of the programme enhances CV's, skills and experience in a work-place. Getting work experience is the first step to progressing into employment. Keep up the good work guys!

Team 15 have completed their Community Project at Latchford Community Hub.. Despite Storm Dennis making an appearance, the team persevered and made a huge difference! ✨ Today we are hosting our Tombola to raise funds for our Community Project. We will be renovating the garden at Latchford Hub to make it easily assessable and aesthetically pleasing for the service users. Any support will be hugely appreciated! ✨

Team 15 have spent their afternoon planning for their Community Project were they will be taking full responsibility of a project to make a change to the local area.

The team presented their ideas to each other, and did a vote to decide on the project they will be undertaking... Team 15 are looking forward to working with Latchford Hub Community Centre, renovating the garden to make it user-friendly. 🌺 🍂

Warrington Prince's Trust Team 14 completed an amazing Final Presentation. They have all achieved so much whilst on programme. They stood up, and confidently delivered a speech on their journey. We couldn't be prouder. Well done Team 14! :)

We are now recruiting for The Prince's Trust Team Programme in Warrington that starts on Monday 20.01.2020!
This is a brilliant programme for anyone aged 16-25 who is looking to gain qualifications, work on confidence, self-esteem, gain work experience, have fun and develop themselves to help build their job prospects.

The qualification you will work towards is the Prince's Trust Level 1 certificate in Employment, Teamwork And Community skills and a Level 1 Money Management qualification on team.

The programmes units are as follows:
Planning for personal development
Teamwork
Community project
Work experience
Career planning
Supporting others in the Community
Presentation skills

The Challenges include:
A 4 day residential
A community project
2 Work experiences (in a career path of your choice)
Working with local community groups
A Final Presentation (to celebrate the learners achievements)

Additional sessions on the programme include:
Sexual health awareness sessions
Drug & alcohol awareness, legal high awareness, knife crime awareness, car crime awareness
First Aid qualification & Health & safety training
Prevent training
Money management
Enterprise training
CV & interview skills
Mock Interviews
Presentation and public speaking skills

Participants will receive the following:
A weekly bus pass if they need help with travelling in to team.
On site free refreshments.
Support throughout the programme to help gain employment.
Learners aged 16-18 may be eligible for a bursary and lunch vouchers.
