It is recommeded to fast either:
- 9th and 10th (Mon/Tues)
- ⁠10th and 11th (Tues/Wed)

May Allah accept all of our fasting. Ameen!

Helping our children discuss contemporary issues facing them in school, amongst their peers and wider society!

A typical session will include:
- Half an hour of Tafsir
- ⁠A discussion on a common issue
- ⁠Some time for team-building activities: football, table-tennis, etc.

The Trustees have become aware that there is a video circulating on social media, in relation to an event (not held in Birmingham Central Mosque) held in support of Shabana Mahmood, the parliamentary candidate for the Labour Party.

In the video it is claimed that Maqbool Ahmed is the chairman of Birmingham Central Mosque and is endorsing the campaign of Shabana Mahmood.

We wish to clarify that Maqbool Ahmed is not the Chairman of Birmingham Central Mosque and does not reflect the position of Birmingham Central Mosque.

Birmingham Central Mosque is completely politically neutral and has been since it was built. It does not endorse any political candidate.
