Buttimer Engineering - UK are looking for Permanent Mechanical Project Engineer/ Tendering Engineer to assist our team in our growing Birmingham office in the UK.

Candidates within commuting distance to Birmingham, who may be interested with the following experience please get in touch:
-Minimum 5 years relevant experience in: Material Handling Equipment, Waste to Energy, Biomass, Mechanical Design and Installation, Ports and Infrastructure.
-Understand project specifications, read drawings and associated information, primarily from a mechanical engineering perspective
-Experience of putting together detailed well-presented project quotes
-Ability to use various packages such as Microsoft project, excel, word, autocad etc.
-Proven track record in taking a project enquiry and delivering a well-structured project bid from same
-Proven track record in providing comprehensive engineering support to projects
-Able to work on own their initiative
-Self-starter with an obvious desire to grow Buttimer Engineering within the mainland UK
-Comfortable both in-house with fellow colleagues or face to face with new or existing clients
-Flexible approach and willing to take on various duties in order to move the business forward
-Willing to travel UK/Ireland for site visits etc.
