We obtained planning and building regulation approval for a second storey side extension to add an en-suite bedroom. The property is on greenbelt designated land so careful design considerations and planning justification was required to gain successful planning approval. The client was keen not to demolish the previously converted garage we were building over, unfortunately the foundations were not sufficient to support the new loadings, so we provided a steel crane design which minimised disruption and avoided the need to underpin.
We obtained planning and building regulation approval to raise the overall height of this property, allowing a third storey to be added. We also designed a single storey rear extension and layout reconfiguration to move the property entrance and kitchen from the front to the rear
We obtained planning and building control approval to add a second storey over the garage, adding a master bedroom with dressing room and en-suite, a loft conversion with front and rear dormers, adding 2 double bedrooms and Jack and Jill en-suite and a single storey rear extension, combined with internal wall removal to create a kitchen, dining, family room

An extension doesn’t need to be huge to make a huge impact. A 7.2m2 extension and the removal of some walls transformed this terraced house into a great family home. The entrance hall was small and dark, by removing a wall and replacing in part with a timber screen the space was opened up whilst keeping some separation to the entrance door. We provided planning and building regulation drawings including structural design. The clients have styled the space beautifully 😍

We provided planning & building regulation drawings, including structural design for a double storey side & rear extension to this property in Harborne. The extension created a family kitchen dining space, utility, home gym, new master bedroom with en-suite and Juliet balcony, new family bathroom and larger 4th bedroom. We also tendered the project and provided management services throughout the build. A few final snags and it will be complete! 🏡
How fab is this garden room we designed last summer! It provides a quiet home working space. There is a mezzanine level with roof light for stargazing and sunken hide for spotting wildlife in the beautiful woodland garden, playful fox cubs were the first sighting 🦊
