THE MUD, SWEAT AND TEARS Next month an adrenaline fuelled team of adventerers from across 2SFG UKP will be tackling the mighty Tough Mudder at Ragley Hall on the 7th September. The challenge will be to raise vitally needed fu
18 days to go until 60,000 people take to the streets of the North-East for the World Famous Great North Run . Earlier this week we could up with Will Gordon, Commercial Director for Frytec, whose one of three people running for the Boparan Charitable Trust.
Will has been training hard for the challenge averaging over 40 โ 50 km a week, when asked what keeps him motivated, he said โI have been a follower of the Boparan Trust for a few years and find it amazing to see the work they do to help change the lives of young people in both big and small ways. In addition to fundraising, I have set myself the challenge of completing the run in under two hours.โ
Best of luck to Will as he swaps chip tasting for road racing to help support a Brighter Future for young people across the UK.

We are delighted to announce that only ONE team remains for this years Boparan Trust Golf Classic. The event now in its 9th year takes place on the world class Brabazon Course at the famous Belfry Hotel & Golf Resort, home to the British Masters.

Two daredevil fundraisers are taking to the skies above Peterborough for a 13,000ft skydive this week.
The dynamic duo will be taking the plunge for the first-time to help raise money to support the work of the Trust.
Alecia Sandhu who works for BRG said โI am nervous about the jump, but really proud to have raised funds to support the charity, it does some fantastic work which I have seen firsthand.โ
Shanice Ireland said, โThank you so much to everyone who has got behind us with the fundraising and sponsorship and cannot wait for next week.โ

He has been out and about in his new specialist powered wheelchair supported by the Boparan Charitable Trust.
Jacob has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and dystonia. Living in rural Wales, he often felt isolated and limited as to what he could do with friends and family. The new chair has opened up so many new avenues for him.

Start the week with a look back at our Dragon Boat Spectacular in partnership with the Greggs Foundation. An amazing day raising ยฃ41,000 to support the work of the charities.
Chanelle has a passion for life, but felt continually challenged due to her cerebral palsy and reliance on a wheelchair. The Boparan Trust listened to Chanelle and her family, helping to fund a specific new chair for the inspirational teenager, offering her independence and a chance to enjoy time with family and friends.

A huge thank you to staff from 2 Sisters Food Group HQ and UKP Teams who put their baking skills to the challenge to help raise funds for the Boparan Charitable Trust.
Eleven staff cooked up a range of delights from chocolate brownies to fairy cakes, cookies to carrot cake. Congratulations to Guy whose carrot cake won the competition and in the process raised over ยฃ250 to support our work in building brighter futures for children across the UK.
Sunshine and ๐ dragon boats led to an amazing day on the Tees River. Over 110 paddlers competed in the first Boparan Charitable Trust and Greggs Foundation Dragon Boat Spectacular.

To date an epic ยฃ41,000 has been raised from the event to support the work of the two charities. A massive thank you to everyone who took part, sponsored and supported today and helped bring in teams. We look forward to catching up with everyone over the coming weeks. A huge congratulations to Steve Yarwood, who climbed to the top of the worldโs tallest permanent abseil tower in Northampton this morning.

Ava's been out enjoying the good weather in her specially adapted wheelchair, supported by the Boparan Charitable Trust. The fun-loving youngster lives with a rare condition, which leaves her with tight muscles, in constant pain and reliant on her wheelchair. The new tri-ride adaption will allow her to be independent, remain mobile and be able to keep up with friends and family, reducing her tiredness and muscle pain.

Braiden is an adventurous teenager who enjoys life, but is often held back by hereditary extoses effecting his bones.
Leaving him exhausted and in need of morphine to cope with the pain. We helped to fund a new specialist wheelchair for him, giving the independence he desperately craves.
The presentation was made by our Trustee and new Events and Fundraising Manager Natasha who said โSeeing the difference this chair will make is amazing, it is not just the big things but the simple ones like being able to independently travel to school, with friends. It has really hit home to me the work of the Trust and I look forward to helping to build a brighter future for many years to come.โ
A big thank you to the Boparan Charitable Trust for a fantastic event at the Emirates Stadium yesterday! Sadly we didnโt come away as the champions but our lads thoroughly enjoyed the day and we canโt wait for the next one โฝ๐
