4 months old Piper is looking for a home where she can be the only cat and have all the fuss to herself. When she's not cuddling, Piper loves to chase her toys and play in her cat tunnel.

Personally, when they stop doing this (when they mature / get too heavy) - I always feel a tad sad! ......not for the Curtains 🙊🤭🤣 but, that they're growing up!
ARV always offer us the opportunity to be included in their calendars which raises lots of monies for our 🐈

Saturday the 17th was a ‘Super Swan Day’ for Team Cat Rescue – £640 was raised for the cats we help. No wonder Catherine and Lynne are smiling! The weather was cooler yet several pairs of brand-new ‘Hotter’ shoes kindly donated sold like hot cakes. Toys, bricabrac and quality ladies clothes sold well too. One customer bought a covered cat litter box thinking it was a foot spa! He was happy to fork out and help the cats anyways. Volunteering at the sale were Elaine, Lynne, Jan, Catherine, Richard and Linda. Look out for the date of the next sale – September sometime – and donations of items to sell will be much appreciated!
My Daisy is now safely home 😊
A gentleman travelling back to Nuneaton, Ronnie found her on Sunday morning on the Chester Rd!!!
Because it was Sunday he took her home for safety .
My husband Carl and myself will be eternally grateful to him we have never experienced such a sense of loss even when we have lost our dearest loved ones because we just couldn’t imagine where she was.
Our minds were working overtime.
Ronnie even brought her home to us and I think was sad to see her go ❤️
Daisy is off to the vets today to see if there is an underlying problem as she has never before ventured from her garden.
Thank you to everyone who posted and shared I wish I could thank you all personally.
Cat people are amazing and so kind.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Maya is on a roll!
Agnieszka adopted cutie Carrie from TCR in July. Update from the adoring Agnieszka is: “Carrie is now Maya. She chases my toes under the duvet and turns into ‘Mr Hyde’ at night, so I’ve nicknamed her Psycho. She runs around all day like crazy and then slips between the covers at sundown – settling between my head and the headboard. For nosh, she likes Tiger fish varieties, but also chicken, salmon and beef steak – she knows when I’m cooking something nice!” Sounds like it has ‘turned out nice again’ for this purrfect pair!
Update - found.
Lynne’s Cat is Missing
Daisy Tortie and White spayed female 17 yrs old

If she’s found out of the area

With extra support in neutering, some poorly kittens with ring-worm, this is going to come in very useful this month 😀

Another great month - figures from Janie, our Treasurer, for July - a total of £3,763 worth of help to local rescues ‼️‼️‼️
We have sent £300 each to the vets of:
Purrs Cat Rescue - Walsall
TeamCatRescue
The Garden Sanctuary
We will be paying £300 towards neutering rabbits to help Hannah’s Guinea Pig Sanctuary
And we'll be sending £300 worth of food and items to Central England Reptile Rescue & Bird of Prey Sanctuary
We will also be using £1,500 to fund Animal Rescue Volunteers fostering for cats, kittens and rabbits in our care and at My Beautiful Pride X in conjunction with Broken Souls Rescue
‼️That's £3,000 cash help to rescues‼️
Last month we also distributed:
£648 worth of food and £115 worth of other items to lots of local rescues, along with newspapers, three big loads of bedding, beds, blankets, litter and litter trays, and three car loads of bric a brac to Farplace Animal Rescue Charity Shop in Rugeley and Farplace Animal Rescue Charity Shop in Tamworth
This is in addition to the neuter and chip scheme we have been running
WOW!
TCR often goes the extra mile to home a cat. But it’s not often 168 miles as it was on Wednesday! Two TCR youngsters – Lola and Lulu – were driven off to Exmoor in Devon to live their lives out in glorious countryside with Tracey Lord. Tracey had adopted TCR cats in 2009 when she lived in Brum, and never forgot the ‘excellent service’ she’d had from the Team. Coordinator Lynne ‘coordinated’ the whole transfer - setting off early with every welfare need sorted. The travel team turned up at Tracey’s smallholding (she has horses and dogs too) and the new arrivals had settled, had a nosh, and used their litter trays by 3pm. What a way to go and what a feat!
A meow-shout-out from Tortie Lola and Tabby mate Charlie - 'our humans can't look after us any more - change of circs - so could you?' TCR are seeking a new home for this happy healthy pair of 6-year olds. As they were originally adopted from TCR, everything is/was 'done' vet-wise. Brief info is Charlie loves his food, and Lola is a fusspot. Other info? Preferably rehomed together, and must be soon!
If interested, give Lynne a call on 0121 373 4596, between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Happy Sunday world
Pebbles update;
She's an amazing Momma and doing such a great job! Look how big they're getting 🥰
The Cats Protection and The RSPCA have stopped issuing vouchers towards the cost of neutering.
The voluntary organisations like TCR are picking up the burden and the cost of this action .
These are National organisations with an abundance of funds what now are their priorities ?
This Year the situation is at epidemic levels all organisations are feeling the pressure and the cost.
We need funds and we need fosterers to deal with the situation that this action has accelerated.
Can anyone open their home to an additional cat or kitten or could they foster even if it’s for a temporary period, or can you spare a few pounds to help the people who are calling us for help towards their cats neutering?
The situation is distressing having to say say “so sorry we can’t help you we have no space “ or “we can only afford X towards your veterinary cost”
Please share as I’m sure there are many voluntary rescues dealing with the same situation

Always so thankful for your support 🥰

Eagle eyed supporters will have noticed the last report was April, so here is May and June's combined
‼️We have given £3,000 to help rescues for these 2 months ‼️
£300 each for vet bills to:
Purrs Cat Rescue - Walsall
The Garden Sanctuary
TeamCatRescue
£200 towards rabbit neuters and £100 worth of hay and nuggets to Hannah’s Guinea Pig Sanctuary
£300 of food to Central England Reptile Rescue & Bird of Prey Sanctuary
And £1,500 towards ARV fostering costs of cats and kittens currently in care
We have also distributed:
£1,134 worth of food to local rescues
£210 worth of accessories
2 car loads of bedding, towels, newspapers, cages, litter and toys
Lots of bric a brac to Farplace Animal Rescue Charity Shop in Rugeley and Farplace Animal Rescue Charity Shop in Tamworth
‼️ That is a total of £4,344 worth of help to local rescues helping homeless animals and wildlife in the last 2 months ‼️
Smiles all round abound as volunteers Jan, Catherine and Jane tot-up the takings at the July Swan sale - £800 - a nice round number! And feline funds are needed as never before as the number of cats and kittens abandoned and/or looking for new homes grows and grows. Big thanks from coordinator Lynne to the volunteers who helped, everyone who donated teddies, toys, clothes, bricabrac and more, and the fine folk of Yardley who always come by and buy!
Just some of the kittens we have ready for adoption.
Meet Jasper and Pippa.
They will come microchipped, 1st injections flea and wormed. A contract and agreement will need to be signed to ensure they are neutered when old enough.
If you have the perfect home to offer please call Lynne to express your interest on 0121 373 4596 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Carrie the film was a horror mystery - but Carrie the ginger girl - new in TCR - is anything but! Ginger girls are a rarity - just one in 10 gingers is female - and she's as good as her golden fur. Around 18 months old, now spayed, chipped and just waiting for her 2nd vaccination - and a home! Call Lynne on 0121 373 4596 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday if she could be your golden girl!
Love is ❤️
Never give up on those strays and feral, they deserve a home!
Volunteer Alex took Jet into her fold 3 years ago - Jet was completely feral! He now enjoys lap cuddles, has 2 meals a day (at least) and will always be cared for.
We are getting an enormous amount of calls regarding stray/feral cats - if you have any concerns the RSPCA have some advice;
