🌟 A Record-Breaking Achievement by Stewart Bissell! 🌟
We are absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude for Stewart Bissell, who has achieved the highest fundraising total ever for the Streetly Centre in our 10 years of hosting our Annual Sponsored Walk! Stewart, a cherished long-time supporter of Heart Care, took on our charity walk on 21st July with unwavering determination—despite still feeling the after effects of an illness. Stewart wasn’t alone on this journey; he was joined by his daughter and grandson, who flew all the way from Italy to walk beside him.
On August 20th, at Blackwood Methodist Church, Stewart presented us with an astonishing £840.00 —the highest amount ever raised by an individual at Streetly for this event! This incredible feat was made possible by the generosity of many:
* 50% of the total was contributed by Stewart's choir, the Birmingham Male Voice Choir. If you see their concerts advertised, please support them—they do so much good, and if you have a passion for male voice singing, they would welcome you! 👏
* Our heartfelt thanks also go to "The Shed," a charity in Aldridge whose members craft wooden items to help those in need. 👏
*We’re also deeply grateful to our local MP, Wendy Morton, and to Stewart’s friends and family who so generously contributed. 👏
Stewart, your dedication and the kindness of everyone who supported you have touched our hearts deeply. You've not only set a record, but you've also made an incredible difference in the lives of our patients. A HUGE THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! # # # 💖🤩🙏
Our wonderful Stewart Bissell who is on course to raise over £800 following his sponsored walk across fields and towpaths at Lime pits in Aldridge all for Heart Care the local Walsall charity. Well done Stewart!
