Alan and James had a great morning at Bishop’s Stortford College today, as they have kindly chosen to raise money for us through their charity day.
Thanks to the ‘person’ that stole one of our magnetic signs from a responders car at Tesco this evening!

We’re still after donations please to keep us responding.

Today James had the pleasure of meeting up with Robert who last year suffered a sudden cardiac arrest.
Tonight we got together at The Harvest Moon to welcome our new responder Sofia to the team 🍸
If you’re not aware all CFR groups have to self fund for the majority of the kit they carry. Unfortunately, these items don’t last forever and need replacing every few years, which can sometimes be challenging. On top of this we have uniform costs, which can include wear and tear.
You can however donate to us using the following link, where you can choose to donate to the Bishop’s Stortford CFR group in the ‘message’ section. Any donations will be gratefully received.

We’re calling on our amazing community to come and help us locate the missing defibrillator. It appears our trusty defibrillator that is located outside Hoddesdon Library has pulled a disappearing act after its last life-saving performance!
We completely understand that this could be a mistake from the most recent users. So if you were the recent superhero who borrowed our defib or you just happened to witness its grand exit, help us out!
Give this post a share, spread the word, and let's bring our defibrillator back home where it belongs – ready to save the day once again!
Merry Christmas from the Bishop’s Stortford CFR team. As usual we’ll have a responder available all days over the festive period and New Year🎄

Well done Alan!

Our service is under extreme pressure with many ambulances delayed outside hospitals and high call volumes. To help us respond effectively we have increased our escalation state across the trust.
Please support us by using our services wisely and only calling for life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
