She became an instructor in 2000 and trained with Body Control Pilates and is now qualified to advanced level on mat and all the machines and as a Level 4 Back Care Specialist. Press Ups with Magic Circle
This exercise helps to strengthen your triceps, stabilise your shoulders and strengthen your core muscles. To make it easier, you could keep your knees down on the floor. The magic circle is a prop to make the exercise easier and allows you to lower further with its support - but it's not essential.

Cobra
A good exercise for stabilising your shoulders and strengthening your back muscles. It can be particularly beneficial for individuals who spend long hours sitting at a desk or hunched over electronic devices, as it helps to counteract the effects of poor posture.

🌟Looking for a quick and effective way to strengthen your core muscles? Try the Pilates Roll Up with a stretchy band!
👉 Start by sitting on a flat surface with your legs extended and the band around your feet.
🧘♀️ Inhale deeply, engage your core, and slowly articulate your spine down while exhaling.
💪 Keep your arms straight, gently pulling the band for added resistance.
⏸️ Pause midway, then inhale to roll back up, focusing on smooth movements from your core.
🌟 Finish by sitting tall with relaxed shoulders.
This exercise not only strengthens your core but also improves flexibility and promotes better posture. Give it a try and feel the difference!

Ro is a qualified with Body Control Pilates and as a Level 4 Back Care Specialist.
She says, “I got into Pilates after years of driving for my job, lots of gym work, teaching in the gym as a personal trainer and taking exercise to music classes. My lower back was suffering and guess what – when I trained as a Pilates Instructor my back pain disappeared as I strengthened my core muscles”.
