A typical day in the life of a care worker will involve visiting a number of service users to support them with various tasks depending on their needs. For example morning visits may consist of personal care, medication, light domestic duties and meal preparation. During each visit you will be required to record factual information about what has taken place during the visit in the daily log book.

We currently have opportunities to work for us in Blackpool

We have part and full time positions available, with guaranteed hours and flexible shift patterns. The hours of work will vary between the hours of 7am - 11pm.

Carers must commit to alternate weekends. Previous experience is desired but not essential as full training will be provided.

You will be paid £7.85 per hour with double time of £15.70 for Bank Holidays as well as a holiday day in lieu!

If you are a car driver mileage will be paid at 10p per mile.

You will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including discount in any of our Safehands Nurseries. If you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Blackpool Branch are now recruiting for Care support workers. Join our team at this exciting time as pay rates have increased for all care support staff.

As well as getting paid the now enhanced rate of £7.85 we also contribute to your mileage if you drive. On top of this we will also pay you double time on bank holidays - £15.70

You will be entitled to 28 days holiay (8 of these are bank holidays) and if you work a bank holiday not only are you paid double time but you get another holiday day in lieu!

We are looking for flexible candidates and have full and part tme contracts available, as well as casual.

We cover all areas of Blackpool and the Fylde providing domicillary care in the community, maintaining peoples independence and promoting dignity and respect throughout all aspects of care delivery.
