St. Peter's Church, Belmont
The official page of St. Peter's church in Belmont, Lancashire.
Apologies for the lack of the carol service being streamed - we had a technical issue๐
Don't forget, if you can't make it to our carol service tonight, 6:30 in church, we are streaming it live on Facebook! We'd rather you were with us in person, but would love you to watch live if you can't.
Good morning everyone - today, at 11am is our family film day. ยฃ5 each with refreshments included.
A reminder of all the lovely services we've got coming up over the next two weeks!
We really hope you can all join us ๐๐โ๏ธ
What a year 2023 has been, we've got proper heating, at last, and we're coming into the digital age!!
All 3 of the below are due to us embracing technology!!
This Saturday, 16th December, between 11am & 2:30pm, we're showing 2 Christmas films for children. Home Alone (the first one) and Nativity (with Mr Poppy - if you don't know, as the children / grandchildren). All children do need to be accompanied by an adult. ยฃ5 each. Feel free to bring beanbags / favourite blanket etc. Refreshments will be provided.
Then on Sunday, at 6:30pm, we're having our annual lessons and carol service - and we're streaming it on Facebook!!! It will be the first time we've tried this, so please bear with us. We would rather you were with us, but join online if you can't.
Hopefully we will see many of you, old and new faces, over the rest of Advent and the Christmas season.
Finally, with fewer of us carrying cash, it isn't easy to support St. Peter's, and the work we do. So we now have a digital giving machine in St. Peter's Church, Belmont and, by the magic of technology, the below QR code is in church which allows you to scan with your phone and then make a one-off donation OR set up a regular amount - as large or small as you like. Every penny really helps!!

Just a polite reminder to those coming into the building that we still have work, well under the way, replacing the heating system. So, please take care when walking around.
Hope you can join us ๐
Tomorrow we host our weekly Cafe and Post Office tomorrow (Friday) from 9:15 till 11:30am in the Parish Room.
A reminder that we are still having work done to our heating system so please take care when walking around the church as there could be grates up, new pipes and radiators around.
Everyone is very welcome to join us and come and say hello ๐

Just a polite reminder to take care when entering and walking around the church due to the ongoing works replacing our Victorian heating system (some of the grates could be up).
A reminder that we have our weekly Sunday service this morning ๐
10:30am start and everyone is always welcome ๐๐โช
