Proper Good Bolton are are open for new applications for bespoke business coaching and skills workshops for your business!

The programme is a really valuable opportunity. It’s a package of bespoke support, matched to your business. It consists of 1:1 mentoring sessions with experienced coaches and business advisors, as well as specialist group workshops, designed to meet the development needs of social enterprises. At the end of the programme there’s also an opportunity to apply for a £1000 business development grant.

To be eligible to apply for the programme you need to be:
• An incorporated social enterprise or entrepreneur (qualifying organisation structures include C.I.C’s, trading charities, C.I.O’s, Community Benefit Societies and Limited Companies with an appropriate asset lock and community purpose)
• Actively trading or have a robust trading model
• Delivering work in Bolton

Mental ill health is now the number one reason for long-term absence from work, but employers can take steps to positively impact on staff wellbeing.

A free event in Bolton will give business owners, leaders and line managers the confidence and skills they need to support the mental health and wellbeing of their teams.

The event will feature an innovative presentation and performance to demonstrate how leaders can have a transformative impact on their employees’ wellbeing.

The event is part of a wider project by Bolton Council in partnership with corporate wellbeing specialists Ripple&Co.

Funded by the government’s Mental Health Recovery Action Plan, the partnership has co-designed a programme of resources and training mainly for small and medium sized businesses, but any business with a keen interest to improve staff wellbeing is welcome.

The Workplace Wellbeing Event will take place at the Octagon Theatre on Wednesday, May 25 from 4.15pm to 7pm.
