The Hoggery Book Barn

Yesterday was a great day as we delivered over £1000 of books to a local school - that cost the school absolutely nothing.

They held a sponsored read to celebrate world book day and with the Usborne free books for school initiative were able to choose their own books using the sponsorship money raised and an additional 60% gifted by Usborne books.

In February we will be hiding children's books all around Westhoughton! All you have to do is find them!!!

When you find a book you can either KEEP IT or you can read it and then HIDE it again for someone else to find.

I will be asking local businesses to consider sponsoring books; if you are interested please drop us a line. You can sponsor

1 book for older children for £5 or

5 books for younger children for £5 or

30 books for £25!

For your sponsorship you would receive a book plate in each of the books you sponsor advertising your business. Your book would go into many different households and so would be some lovely advertising for you. Your business will also be promoted in the Facebook group I have set up specifically for the book hunt where I will also be sharing some clues to locations.
