Who are we? We are an Independent IT company based in Bolton covering the whole of the UK offering managed IT services, Cloud services and VOIP.

Who we are looking for: We aim to provide a high level of customer service for our clients, the successful candidate would be able to demonstrate knowledge of good customer and technical service over the phone and in writing via email and support software.

This role is a mix of both administration and basic technical helpdesk and therefore experience in both these areas is a minimum.

This is a Part Time position working 3 out of 5 days (Mon to Fri) for 24 hrs a week.

The Role:

Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.

Performing simple remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.

Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.

Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.

Provide accurate information on IT products or services.

Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.

Follow-up and update customer status and information.

Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.

Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
Invoicing clients.

Onboarding of new clients

Answering customer emails.

Dealing with client account queries.

Dealing with the post as it arrives and filing.

Liaising with suppliers and dealing with any queries.

Assisting the directors as required.


The Ideal candidate:

Minimum 1 years experience as a help desk support, plus minimum 1 years experience as an office administrator.

Knowledge of VoIP, broadband and networks.

Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control working.

Excellent understanding of current computer platforms, mobile devices and tech products.

Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and automated office systems ie invoicing and helpdesk.

Proficiency in English.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

Exceptional customer service and care skills.

Ability to build good working relationships with all levels of the business.

Must work as part of a team and independently.
