Nursery Graduation for those children starting school September 2023 is going to be held Wednesday 19th July in the KS2 hall 9:15am

Afterwards we would like to have all the school leavers children in to have a party and enjoy an children’s entertainer. If you haven’t already swapped your child’s sessions so they can attend please speak to Rachel next week

Tomorrow the children will be making their own boats to see if they can float or sink. We will also see what they need to move.

Do you have any clean empty plastic containers ? such as bottles etc please send them in

Due to the industrial action that’s happening Wednesday 7th July and Friday 9Th July

There will be no HOT SCHOOL meals

Please ensure that you child has a packed lunch for these days. Refunds have been processed on ParentPay

Dear Parents/Carers,

The last week of term we will be having our leavers party Wednesday 19th July 2022. Your child is welcome to wear their party clothes, but please be aware we will still be accessing the garden and they might get messy.
To help us with the costs of the party food and games, we are asking all parents to help out by contributing a payment of £2. This is payable by cash to Rachel and is due no later than Monday 3rd July 2021 please.
There will be no need to provide lunch boxes as the nursery will be providing a picnic lunch and traditional party food.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to ask, we are getting very excited.

This weekend there will be an amazing Vintage music festival

Our Nursery Manager Rachel will be performing at 1.15pm on the bandstand with the choir she’s in

Whoop whoop the sun has got his hat on !

Please ensure your child has their suncream on before they come to nursery, and has a clearly named hat.

This will mean we can go out in the garden earlier, as it can take us 2 hours to apply suncream to all of the children

Please make sure that you have applied suncream to your child before they come to nursery and pop it in their bag clearly labelled. They also need as sun hat and their water bottle.

Exciting news !!!!!

At nursery we have some little visitors

Following on from our previous topic and through child initiated activities we are going to watch these babies turn into ladybirds

They are super tiny and can take up to 28 days to fully transform.

We will do our best to take pictures and update you when we can

What amazing weather we have had this weekend !

Please make sure that you apply sun cream before your child arrives at nursery. This will mean we can get outside quicker and we will then top their suncream up after lunch

We would like you all to make a crown to help celebrate the Kings Coronation. All entries need to be in by Tuesday 2nds May

entry is £2 and their will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. All children who enter will get a small token. You are welcome to enter more than one crown!

King Charles III coronation

we are very excited to be celebrating His Royal Majesty King Charles III coronation.

We will be dedicating a whole week at the nursery the week commencing 2nd May 2023.

The children will be helping to make decorations, dressing up as Kings and Queens, making crowns, talking about the royal family plus lots of other very exciting activities.

We would also like to invite all of our families to a picnic with the whole school on Friday 5th May at 1.pm – 2.30pm on the main school field. you are welcome to take your child with you after the picnic.

You will need to bring your own picnic, rug or chair to sit on.

We will be having a later snack at nursery on this day as their lunch will be later.

On Friday 21st April a blue coat with an octopus on it might of accidently been taken home. Please can I ask you all to check the coats you have at home to see if its been taken by mistake and return to us as soon as possible

Our topic this term is “ our wonderful imagination”

The children are going to be listening to some traditional stories and then we will be working hard to use our imaginations to make up and write our own stories.

We will be talking about size and measuring lots of objects, people and looking at the similarities and differences
