Yes, I am aware that things change, but if you’re not going to need your haircut before Christmas, please think ahead.

Self employed people don’t get paid holidays, so we need to work extra hard, so that we can enjoy some time off.

When you cancel at the last moment it’s hard to fill the space, and we miss out on vital revenue……

It’s extremely frustrating, and expensive to miss out on work this time of year.

This is a Full Service! Not just a haircut, I appreciate this may seem unorthodox, but I believe that my clients require the time and attention they deserve.

Mens hairdressing has come a long way, and I want to make it lead that Men need a good amount of time in the chair too. Time to talk, be heard, receive care and attention, alongside a great hairdressing experience.

This New approach to how I wish to work won’t be for everyone, and I know that, but this is how I wish to run my business…….

This is the best way for me to give the client time and space with every visit.

Exciting NEW approach to The Hairy Palm is now coming your way! I've taken a long time arriving at this decision about how i wish honour all my clients properly and mindfully. It's been a hard and enlightening process, but one i'm now feeling comfortable with and ready to incorporate into the business. The way i work and have worked for over 30 years is no longer serving me, or You, my wonderful clients. I constantly feel rushed, burned out and not able to hear and hold space for my clients in the way you deserve or i wish to work. Time seems to be the main thing i've not valued for myself or the people visiting me whilst in the Hairy Palm space. I no longer wish to have clients overlapping each others appointments, i'd like everyone to have the space to be heard and seen. I, as the stylist need to be able to sit down with everyone and understand all the needs and requirements of each unique individual. So, with this in mind i am now offering "Time" not just the haircut. You can now chose the time i spend with you, all slots will be long enough for the services i already offer. Service, and a relaxing experience is the focus for me, also the ability to work at the pace that gives me time to do my Best work.... Coffee made for you on arrival, or herbal tea if you wish. Shampoo and head massage, steam with oil for the bearded ones, along with plenty of time to converse and relax. Services: Beard & Moustache Beard & Haircut Haircut with scissors clipper cut Shampoo before or after haircut Face steam with oil I really hope you'll see the value in what i'm offering, the way i wish to work and the time i'd like to spend with you as valued clients. If you have a pre booked appointment from now until Dec 23rd 2023 they will stay as they are, there is no need to panic! The New system of booking will commence from January 2024. In 2023 can a successful business owner run a great business without Social Media?

I’ve found running social media the Biggest addiction since ci******es. I’m finding myself constantly thinking about posting, doom scrolling & looking for validation.

So, as part of my mental health journey & organically growing my business I’ve decided to take the app off my phone and Mac.

How to keep in contact?

I won’t be checking this platform / FB / Twitter or anything else.

There is a “book” button in the bio, and will still be the way to find my availability.

I’m keeping the accounts open so that all the links are accessible to everyone, but I won’t be posting, reading, sharing or scrolling until further notice……..

Mark was getting married and wanted to look super fresh, so I had to make sure he felt great!

As barbers and hairdressers we are called upon to help create lots of happy days flow well.

It’s a service industry & we are here in the background, making part of your day feel special!
