We recently updated our bags so they are now made with grass pulp! 🙌 🌱

Whilst it’s always better to use a re-usable bag, sometimes that just isn’t possible. So when we discovered an even better option than paper bags, we just had to get them for our stores 👌 - The production of these grass paper bags is far more effective than wool pulp based bags, saving around 23% of c02.

Thanks so much to everyone who supported our Black Friday Fundraiser for Rye Nature Reserve! 🧡

As lot's of you will know, we've never been ones for Black Friday, mainly because of the unnecessary waste it creates and the pressure it puts on small businesses. From the get-go we've also always been driven to charge fair prices all year round, something we wouldn't be able to do alongside huge discounts.

This year, we wanted to use the event to raise money for a charity close to home by donating 50% of our Black Rose Soap Proceeds to Rye Nature Reserve! In total we sold 81 bars, raising a total of £143.25 🙌

We've really loved seeing the response to our charity soap bars this year and as we continue our journey, we're going to be doing these a lot more so we can support the charities that mean so much to us and our surroundings.

Incase you missed our last post, we're raising money for Sussex Wildlife Trust who support many habitats around Sussex. If you've never been before, you need to stick it on your bucket list! 👌 The discovery centre is great for kids and adults alike, plus you'll get the chance to spot one of these little guys.

As you might have seen from previous years, we’re not huge fans of Black Friday. Whilst there can be good deals to be had, overall we see it at something which encourages over-consumption and unnecessary waste.
