🌟🌟IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!! 🌟🌟
To all of the beautiful customers, students and loyal followers of Get Nailed by Lauren McBride,
As many of you know I have taken the month of July off from all that is Get Nailed. I have used this time to spend time with the McBride Tribe, and as a reset. During the month of July there have been many ups and downs, as well as time to reflect on the last 4 incredible years of the Get Nailed life. Stuart and I have also had some very intense discussions on how we are going to move forward, not just in the nail world but also with our home and family life.
Those conversations have made us realise that the last 4 years have been incredible, but the long hours, hard work and blood sweat and tears have taken a toll on my physical health. I can no longer put the amount of hours, dedication and enthusiasm that you deserve into what we do, because my body will simply not allow it!
The last 4 years of launching and running Get Nailed by Lauren McBride have been nothing short of a dream come true! We are so very proud of what we have achieved in such a small amount of time, doors have been opened and opportunities have been given to me that I could only ever have dreamed of! I have made friends for life along the way and learnt lots of valuable life lessons that will stay with me forever! I am not only proud of the product line, which I genuinely believe to be the best, but I am most proud of the community we have all built! Making everyone feel welcome, safe, and given people that were lost in the nail industry a place to call home and a nail family that is full of love, support, and genuine loyalty to one another! Unfortunately, this is rare in the nail industry, and I am so honoured and proud to have built, met, and become part of such an incredible nail family!
Everyone’s love, support, and loyalty throughout the last 4 years and the last few months has blown me away and I will be forever grateful.
With all that being said, my health and my family must take precedent over everything. I do not want to be an ‘in a minute mum’, who my children only remember as constantly working or being mentally and physically exhausted as a result. So, we have made the decision that the crazy ride that has been Get Nailed by Lauren McBride product line and workshops, will be coming to an end at the end of August.
I know that this may be upsetting for many of you and come as a surprise! Please all know that this decision is not one that has been taken lightly!
But……
You will all be pleased to know that there is an angel in disguise, who I am VERY proud to hand over the Get Nailed torch to. This person came to me with tears in her eyes and love in her heart for all that is Get Nailed! She has a genuine love for all that we have built and has been by my side since the beginning. She has seen first hand what it takes to run Get Nailed and does not want the product line or the community that she has been a part of to stop! I couldn’t be prouder to announce that as of September the beautiful Rachelle Sanders will be taking the torch of Get Nailed and burning in bright for all of you to enjoy! The branding will change, but the product will not and of course Rachelle will be keeping the community and family ethos that we have all built together. The ambassadors will remain, and I am proud to say that I will still be around in the background (for the time being) holding Rachelle’s hand for as long as she needs!
We are hoping to have a smooth transition from Get Nailed to the new branding! With all the work that will need to be put into this, there will be a transition and hand over period for the month of August.
The August and remaining July workshops will still be fulfilled, and I will still be running the Workshop group. Workshops will still be available to purchase on the website. There will be a clearance sale of some items on the website, although others will be unavailable until the new branding from Rachelle has taken over. Lives have also been postponed until September.
I am so very excited for Rachelle, and I have high hopes for the plans she has for the brand and the entire family.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Rachelle for keeping the flame burning and I am sure it will burn brighter and bigger than ever! I would also like to thank the ambassadors, who I am proud to call my friends! As well as everyone that has shown me their love, support, and loyalty over the years!
So…after a VERY long post…I would like to say goodbye to Get Nailed and hello to the future!

💎Sculpt your acrylics/Gel enhancements to desired length, file and shape…. On a natural nail apply ALL ABOUT THE BASE and cure for 60 seconds led / 2 minutes
💎Next apply a full layer of COBBLE STONE cure 30 seconds led / 2 minutes UV. Repeat this step.
💎Using INNOCENCE and my SKINNY MINI I started to create my mandala design, I don’t this small sections at a time with 10 second cure to hold in place, once finished cure 30 seconds led / 2 minutes UV..
💎Next using ZEN and my 10mm Brush I added this to my mandala design. cure 30 seconds LED / 2 minutes UV.
💎I then applied a full layer of MATTE-ERIAL GIRL. cure 60 seconds LED / 2 minutes UV.
💎Next I applied ID RATHER BE SHINY over the areas I had put ZEN. In a raised dome like shape. Cure 60 seconds LED / 2 minutes UV.
💎Lastly I topped these sections with AURORA palette, covered with ID RATHER BE SHINY and Cure 60 seconds LED / 2 minutes UV.

🌿Sculpt your acrylics/Gel enhancements to desired length, file and shape…. On a natural nail apply ALL ABOUT THE BASE and cure for 60 seconds led / 2 minutes
🌿Next apply a full layer of INNOCENCE cure 30 seconds led / 2 minutes UV. Repeat this step.
🌿Using OMG! and INNOCENCE i mixed these together to create pastel colour.
🌿Using my 20mm brush, I applied a strip down the middle of nail. cure 30 seconds led / 2 minutes UV to secure in place. Repeat this step of needed.
🌿Next using BLACK GEL PAINT and my SKINNY MINI I outlined the strip I created and my leaf design. cure 60 seconds LED / 2 minutes UV.
🌿I then applied a full layer of MATTE-ERIAL GIRL. cure 60 seconds LED / 2 minutes UV.

🌟Apply 2 coats of RUBBER DUCKY with 10MM LINER BRUSH from on side to other and cure each layer for 30 seconds LED / 2 Minute UV
🌟Apply 2 coats of CANDY KISSES with 10MM LINER BRUSH next to RUBBER DUCKY and cure 30 seconds LED/ 2 minutes UV.
🌟Apply a circle of BABY'S BREATH with 10MM LINER BRUSH cure 30 seconds LED/ 2 minutes UV.
🌟Apply 2 coats of DALIA with 10MM LINER BRUSH around dot and to edge of nail and cure 30 SECONDS UV/ 2 MINUTES LED.
🌟MIX INNOCENCE with ALL ABOUT THE BASE BASE COAT and with SKINNY MINI add lines between swirls and edge of dot. With DOTTING TOOL add dots to sides of nail and cure 30seconds LED/ 2MINUTES UV.
🌟WITH 5 MM LINER BRUSH add dots of GEM BUDDY to dots and add crystals with CRYSTAL KATANA to dots and cure 60seconds LED/ 2minutes UV.
🌟ADD I'D RATHER BE SHINY top coat and cure for for 60 seconds LED/ 2 minutes UV.

🍉Sculpt your acrylics/Gel enhancements to desired length, file and shape…. On a natural nail apply ALL ABOUT THE BASE and cure for 60 seconds led / 2 minutes
next apply a full layer of CASHMERE cure 30 seconds led / 2 minutes UV. Repeat this step.
🍉Using POP! and my 10mm brush I applied the first part of my watermelon drip design. I cleaned off my brush and applied WOW! as the outer edge. Blend the seam of the 2 colours, cure 30 seconds led / 2 minutes UV to secure in place. Repeat this step.
🍉I then applied a full layer of MATTE-ERIAL GIRL. cure 60 seconds LED / 2 minutes UV.
🍉Next using my SKINNY MINI and BLACK WIDOW Iapplied pips to the pink part and using INNOCENCE, I added highlight to the drip line, the rind of the watermelon and the pips. cure 60 seconds LED / 2 minutes UV.
🍉I then decided to go back in with a layer of MATTE-ERIAL GIRL. cure 60 seconds LED / 2 minutes UV
🍉Then applied blobs of ID RATHER BE SHINY to the drips to create a 3D effect. 60 second cure / 2 minutes UV

🌟 Apply 2 coats of BYE FELICIA to half the nail and cure each layer for 30 seconds LED / 2 Minutes UV.
🌟Apply 2 coats of JUNGLE JIVE to other half of nail and cure 30 seconds LED/ 2 minutes UV.
🌟With SKINNY MINI and INNOCENCE add in swirls to middle of nail. With DOTTING TOOL and INNOCENCE add in dots and cure 30 seconds LED/ 2 minutes UV.
🌟Apply I'D RATHER BE SHINY top coat and cure for for 60 seconds LED/ 2 minutes UV.

🧡Sculpt your acrylics/Gel enhancements to desired length, file and shape…. On a natural nail apply ALL ABOUT THE BASE and cure for 60 seconds led / 2 minutes
🧡 Next apply a full layer of OMG! cure 30 seconds led / 2 minutes UV. Repeat this step.
🧡Using PEONY and ZEN i applied sections to the nail in any desired shape. cure 30 seconds led / 2 minutes UV to secure in place. Repeat this if needed.
🧡Then using INNOCENCE and my DOTTING TOOL I applied random dots to the coloured sections. cure 30 seconds LED / 2 minutes UV.
🧡I then applied a full layer of MATTE-ERIAL GIRL. cure 60 seconds LED / 2 minutes UV.
🧡Now using BABY’S BREATH and my SKINNY MINI i painted on my leaf design. I fully coated this with CLEAR ACRYLIC by sprinkling over the nail so the gel was full saturated. cure 60 seconds LED / 2 minutes UV.
🧡I then added a highlight to the leaves using INNOCENCE and my SKINNY MINI. 🧡And top again with CLEAR ACRYLIC. cure 60 seconds LED / 2 minutes UV.

🌈Apply 1 coat of Cashmere, cure for 30 Seconds Led/ 2 minutes UV, apply 2nd coat of Cashmere, cure for 30 seconds Led / 2 minutes UV.
🌈On a Pallet decant out ZAP, POW, BANG, WOW, OMG and POP, then using the 10mm brush apply a line of POP, cure for 30 seconds Led/ 2 minutes UV. Then do a line of OMG and cure 30 seconds Led/2 minutes UV. Then do a line of ZAP and cure, then a line of WOW and cure, then a line of BANG and cure, finally a line of POW, cure 30 seconds Led/2 minutes UV.
🌈Apply a coat of Mate-erial Girl, cure 60 seconds Led/ 2 minutes UV.
Using some Gem Buddy and a 5mm brush apply a little Gem Buddy to where you want the flowers, add the flowers using a crystal picker upper, cure 60 seconds Led/2 minutes UV.
🌈Using 5mm brush and Gem Buddy place a small amount of Gem Buddy in the centre of the flowers, then with a 5mm brush place one caviar bead into the centre the flowers, cure for 60 seconds Led/2 minutes UV.
