The sixth is known as Anja Chakra (Third eye) which is located in the centre of our forehead. It represents our inner wisdom, knowing, clear perception.
Energetically its role is to help us know ourselves more intimately on a spiritual emotional and mental level.
Drishti is the Sanskrit word for’ vision’ or wisdom. This chakra of our inner vision governs our ability to see life as it is, as opposed to what we think may be happening. It goes beyond the physical act of looking through our lens of perception and past the physical mental and emotional interruptions we make of our visual world. Where our focus goes, ultimately is where our mind and body will follow. When this charka is in balance, we can see things with more clarity of thought, we are able to visualise things and remember our dreams. ✨RESTORE TO ZEN

When this chakra is out of balance, we may not be able to express or communicate our desires and will to others and may feel we have no authority over our lives. ☀️Blissful Summer themed Yin & Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra Retreat at the Beautiful Wellbeing Yurt at Gulliver’s farm
A Summers afternoon of restoring to a state of harmony within the mind, body and soul. Offering you the opportunity to slow down, relax and leave feeling rejuvenated.
Beginning with a grounding meditation and pranayama ( breath practice ) to help us to prepare for a Yin yoga summer themed sequence.
Yin Yoga is the perfect complimentary practice to a busy summer calendar. Summer is the time of fire, flow, expression and abundance. However, it’s also a time when we can often over-exert our energy by trying to do so much.
After our Yin practise, we will have a break to gather for a hot drink and delicious plant-based cake / sweet treat with time to connect, enjoy a leisurely walk in nature within the beautiful grounds or time to simply relax.
On return we then have a blissful Restorative Yoga Practice to soothe the whole body and mind.
Ending with a beautiful summer themed yoga Nidra and sound healing. A deeply nourishing experience to leave you feeling deeply refreshed and relaxed.
This retreat is open to beginners and those who have a practice. A welcoming safe space for you to relax and an opportunity to meet new people.

It’s mental health awareness week from the 13th until the 19th of May 2024. So, this week’s and next week’s theme within our yin yoga class will be focusing on stress reduction and reducing anxiety. Spring Awakening
Yin / Restorative yoga & yoga Nidra workshop
A beautifully curated relaxing yin and restorative yoga sequence to restore nourish and balance the mind body.
Moving forward from winter into the awakening of Spring, a time of growth, change and renewal. Spring awakens new growth, change and focus. As nature awakens so do, we, we may notice a change in our energy levels, thoughts and become more focused on our goals and dreams we hope to achieve.
It’s the season to plant seeds for our future harvest, make changes, new plans and make decisions on what direction we choose for the coming year.
Within our gentle yin practice, we will be working with the Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) meridian pathways. Wood is the energy of Spring, and this element represents the liver and gallbladder meridians. Also incorporating acupressure points within our practise to help encourage these Meridian pathways and breath work.
Then leading onto restorative yoga poses to help us feel relaxed & rejuvenated. Restorative yoga is very restful and has so many wonderful benefits. It restores the body from inside out, calms the nervous system, releases stress and tension and revitalises the organs and lifts energy.
Finishing with a deeply relaxing and nourishing yoga Nidra to help plant the seeds of intention as we move forward into the season of spring.
Open to those with a practice and beginners with medications provided so that you feel supported.
