We are 1 year old today, and to celebrate we have done what we do best, up early on a Saturday morning to get to a new customers butchers shop to repair their vacuum packer, after getting the call yesterday. All repaired and ready for a busy day ahead for them.

Drive unit failed,

Removed unit, stripped down to assess the damage, to find the bearings had completely worn away.

Instead of a complete new unit we’ve managed to repair the drive shaft and housing, and new bearings fitted.

Along with new chain⛓️‍💥 all back and rebuilt for 10am the next day.🛠️💪

Damaged parts get noticed before they fail, like these damaged drive belts, 1 had already failed and the remaining 2 would have failed at anytime.

This was picked up on a service visit so all belts replaced before the machine broke down, meaning no down time in production.

6.30am call from our customer this morning for their mincer that had broken down. This with a full day of mince production planned.

Arrived onsite by 7.30am, fault finding carried out, new part required which we had in the van, machine back in use by 8.30am.

Always doing all we can for our customers what ever the time, day or location.

Late night repair work for our customer last night.

Called out to a failed hydraulic hoist to load their mixer/grinder.

Staff having to load manually at a tiring and significantly reduced throughput.

A call to us, diagnosed the fault straight away, a new motor was needed.

With help from the brilliant TMC Electric Motors in supplying us a replacement straight away. New motor fitted to the pump and we were able to return last night working til midnight to get the machine back in full working order, ready for production starting again this morning.

Another early morning today getting our customers machines working again after breaking down.

Mono Gemini Pastry Roll plant, outfeed conveyor torn and machine out of action, new belts fitted, conveyor drive cleaned and re greased. All back in action.

Hobart mixer drive stopped, stripped down and found the worn gear, new gear ordered and replaced and machine back in action 24hours later.

Parts Washer not cleaning properly, low temperature water. Elements burnt out, cleaned out, new elements fitted and machine back in full working order.

Kilia mincer hoist bearings collapsed and unable to load the mincer.

We were able to identify the correct bearings, from what was left, locally sourced replacements and fully repaired and back in use, all in a mornings work.

Biro bandsaw in need of a new lower wheel, genuine replacement part supplied, fit and test ran, along with a new safety sensor. All done to suit so no disturbance to production.

We value all of our customers, but do love a call out to Bondgate Bakery, after repairing their machines getting to sample their products. Their selection and quality of bakery products is amazing.

Mixer/Grinders, this machine had failed from the bearings collapsing, unfortunately resulting in a lot of damage to the feed worm drive unit and mixer arm drive unit
We were able to collect the drive units, both fully repaired and rebuilt all like new, saving the customer £1000’s compared to buying new from the manufacturer.
Returned to site to refit and test run and the machine now fully back in production.

Sausage Fillers, as well as routine maintenance we also take great pride in carrying out repairs to keep our customers machines going. We aim for a first time fix on all breakdowns. Like this Talsa sausage filler, left on all night by mistake and due to the cooling fan failed some time ago it caused all the wiring and components to burn out and melt.
