Candles are used for a myriad of things and used to symbolise special moments in our lives. From using them as decorations, for heating, in celebrations and even worship candles have become part of our lives and I for one use it for many things as well.

Candles are more than a part of my self care routine not only lighting one during a bath but lighting one in my “loffice” - lounge/office - during my working day, lighting one during meditation, lighting some to create a hyggelig atmosphere and even to freshen the environment.

Staring at the steady and slow burn of the wick relaxes and calms my mind. It brings joy to my heart to see the glow of the candle and if I want a more fireplace feel I light up a Wanderwick.

So as hard as being patient is sometimes we have to trust the wait and be rest assured that it is for the greater good.

When the wait is a bit overwhelming I enjoy indulging in some practices that take my mind off whatever it is that I am waiting for, be it a run, baking or a soak in nice invigorating essential oils. In this regard I would like to introduce our Patience bath oil from products.

There are benefits to using natural candles though these tend to be pricy than paraffin candles not only are they good for the environment but they burn longer as they are made of natural waxes.

This is because natural wax have a lower melting point so they last longer. So you get to enjoy your favourite candles much longer and more value money as we.

This is true for our candles from the not only do you get a long burning gorgeous scented candle they are also vegan, GMO free, Palm oil free, handmade and does not contain ingredients tested on animals.

I believe this is definitely a must in these dark days and I can’t seem to get enough of lit candles.
