If your child gets income-based free school meals or has special educational needs or disabilities, time is running out to book them a free place at a HAF holiday club during the upcoming school holidays.
There are more 100 HAF holiday clubs running this summer. They are at locations across the district and offer lots of different activities and experiences. They are a great place for your child to have fun and make friends. They also get a free healthy meal when they are at the club.
Places are limited and are filling up so don’t delay, see what clubs are running near you and book your child a place now so they don’t miss out.
Follow the link in the comments to learn more about HAF, find a club and book a place.
***HELP!***
We are on the look out for a small rowing/dinghy type boat/kayak to put in our new play area. If it has a hole or two that's fine as it is not going to be on the water, if it needs a lick of paint, that's also fine, we can spruce it up.
If anyone knows anyone throwing one out or giving one away, or if you know where we can source one for free of a very little amount, please get in touch.
Thank you 🛶🛶🛶
Don't forget about the PTA Colour Run next Friday...preparations are underway. 😀❤️🩷🧡💛💜🩵💚💙
Payment can be made via ParentPay or cash to the office.

We hope all our year 6 children are enjoying their transition day today. We look forward to hearing all about it tomorrow.
Hello, we have a bit of a wish list for our new outdoor play area we are creating. If anyone has any of the following, in good condition, we would be really grateful.
Dressing up clothes (age 4 upwards)
Pushchairs/buggies (child size, not dolls)
Small tyres (size of a go kart/pram etc.)
Normal size tyres
Scooters
Helmets
Children's wellies (various sizes)
Crates (milk crates etc.)
Construction toys blocks/lego/duplo etc.)
Shelving for outdoors or wire racks etc.
Wooden pallets
Also, a bit random, if anyone has an old wooden boat or something similar that the children can sit in and play.
Thank you
Chocolate Bars will be on sale from Monday.
**IMPORTANT**
Pre orders are only required for dietary requirements.
For parents of year 5 children. Please remember to register if you are wanting your child to go to Trinity Academy Bradford
Our academy has now opened the Fair Banding Assessment registration form! Make sure to submit your child's application before 23rd September: https://bit.ly/3zsF7YL
We are looking forward to seeing you all at the Summer Fayre tomorrow afternoon.
For tomorrow’s event, we are trialling a part cashless system. If you have notes, £5, £10 or £20, you will be able to buy bags of tokens (valued at 50p per token) at the entrance. This will hopefully, prevent our stalls from running out of change. Alternatively, please bring plenty of change with you.
Any unused tokens are non-transferable
🎂🍰🧁🥧🍩🍪
Do we have any budding bakers out there?
We would love to get our cake stall up and running tomorrow, for our summer fayre. If anyone is able to bake or donate some baked goods, we would be really grateful.
Please bring in to school before 3pm tomorrow if able to donate. Thank you 😋😊
Do you know of anywhere else that has offers or discounts on school uniforms? 🏫
Don't forget to pop along to our Summer Fayre this Friday, 4.30pm-6.30pm. Fun and games for all while supporting school and raising funds.
Ssh...don't tell anyone...but there is something in the sky that looks a little bit like the sun we have been missing lately! 😉😊🌞
As the weather seems to be warming up, please can we ensure children have sun cream applied before coming to school, and they also bring a hat with them.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We have had some amazing donations so far, thank you to all that have brought things in to school.
Please see below, a list of items we are still in need of, if you are able to donate.
Thank you.
Parents...please see our website for further details of Friends of Foxhill Golden Ticket Event.
A big thank you to everyone that donated bags of clothing etc. to our Bags2school collection. We had an overwhelming amount of bags for our first collection in a few years. The weight of all bags was 387kg, which will raise £155 for school.
The photo below doesn't do the amount of bags justice (also another 12 bags were hiding in Mrs Mitchell's car 🙂)
We will try and book another collection in, in the run up to Christmas, just before the big Christmas clear out we all have. Mention it to family and friends, as we said before, the more we have the more money we make for school.
Thank you for your continued support.

*** FOR ANYONE THAT IS HAVING PROBLEMS RECEIVING TEXTS FROM SCHOOL - PLEASE READ BELOW***
The Delivered status against an SMS message sent from Teachers2Parents indicates that the receiving service provider has confirmed they have the message and are sending it to the end recipient's handset.
The two most common reasons for a parent not receiving an SMS message showing as Delivered in T2P are either that their handset is set to block calls/messages from withheld numbers, or that the messages have been flagged as spam.
In the former case, we recommend that the recipients ensure their handset is set to allow messages from withheld numbers- this is more commonly an issue with iPhones.
In the latter instance- more common on Android phones- the recipient can access their spam folder by going into their SMS messaging app, then going into the Settings option at the top-right of the screen and selecting "Spam And Blocked". If your messages are listed here, then the recipient should mark them as Not Spam so the app can learn that they are legitimate messages.
If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Kind regards,
Joe Hill
