Little Hearts Nursery
Learn through play and nature at our exclusive nursery where possibilities are endless. OUTSTANDING
It is our belief that all Children are entitled to the very best start in life, to have their needs met and to be able learn through play. We understand the experiences a child has in their Early Years are vital and can shape their whole future, which is why we are passionate about providing an Inclusive setting in which each and every child feels a sense of belonging, which allows the child the f
At Little Hearts we aim to create a positive and supportive environment for all children, without exception.
At Little Hearte we provide children with one to ones to meet their needs and allow them to have equal opportunities as the other children.
We try to build a holistic overview of the children under our care, their needs, personalities and potential signs of Soecial Educational Needs (SEN)
Intensive interactions is a two-way communication which is used on a daily basis to meet the needs of our children.
🍂 Engaging in outdoor learning provides an excellent opportunity to bring educational activities and experiences into natural surroundings.
It is a fantastic way to learn about nature and the world around us, but it also allows young children to experience learning in ‘real life’ contexts 🍂

Class of 2024! 🎓
Our staff and families had a fantastic time this week at the graduation ceremony and picnic in the park to celebrate the end of the year.
We would like to say a big thank you for all the support our parents have given us and for trusting us to take care of your Little Hearts.
We had a picnic in the park and a little sports day which was the perfect end to an amazing year!
We wish our graduates all the best for the future, we have loved being a part of your journey to success!
Our pre-schoolers have been having lots of fun getting creative outdoors!
Children have been exploring textures using different natural resources to make new marks!
It's always refreshing to find new ways to mark make.
Well done pre-school!
Snack time is always a big hit in the baby room!
Our babies have been super independent these past few weeks, we have been working very hard on children building their fine motor skills and hand-eye co-ordination in order for them to feed themselves using cutlery.
The children have made fantastic progress in using spoons to feed themselves yogurts and finger foods. Well done babies!
At Little Hearts we love to give the children real life experiences when we can. This week some of the children have been talking about going to a car wash in their mummy’s and Daddy’s cars and telling their friends all about it. We thought it would be a good idea to let the children wash our staff members cars.
The children loved this and were super excited to wash, scrub and dry the car!
This activity has helped the children develop their prime areas as well as their specific areas in development such as understanding the world, giving the children real life experiences. PSED, working together and helping each other.
Our toddlers have been really enjoying the warm weather this week!
We had lots of fun making ourselves some yummy treats for snack.
The children used their fine motor skills to sq**rt the sq**rty cream into the tray and bowls and then used the scoops to fill their ice cream cones.
The children had so much fun creating their own ice creams, hopefully the sunshine will continue next week for some more fun!
Our pre-schoolers have had lots of fun practicing their letters this week! The children are becoming so confident with recognising the different letters and associating them with words.
We have had lots of fun activities for the children to practice their hardwork on letters. Well done pre-school!

Another fantastic stay and play today!
Our babies enjoyed a lovely stay and play this morning, it was so lovely to see all the parents involved and the children having lots of fun!
As always a big thank you to all our parents that attended and we hope to see you all soon on our next session!
To celebrate Father’s Day at our Pearson setting we all went on a walk to our local park. We were joined by daddy’s, uncles, cousins and Mummy’s!
The children played in the park and did some activities together with their parents.
This was a good opportunity for parents especially fathers to come and spend some quality time with their children.
Thank you to all the parents you joined us on this special walk!
Toddler stay and play!
We had lots of fun at our stay and play session today!
Today's theme was all about farm animals in relation to our recent trip to the farm. The toddlers had lots of fun exploring the different textures in our sensory farm.
They also had an opportunity to practice milking cows which was a big hit among the children!
Our stay and play sessions are great in supporting our parent relationships, and also for parents to come in and see how their children interact within nursery.
As always a big thank you to all the parents and their continued support in attending these sessions, we cannot wait for the next one!
This week our toddlers have had lots of fun doing water play.
Water play is an open ended activity that allows children to discover new ideas and explore different outcomes. It is great for teaching children all about maths. Children are able to learn about different sizes, volume, measurements and estimations.
The children have been practicing their range of motor skills by filling and emptying containers, and trying to catch the water! All the children worked together fantastically, using their little cups to fill the big containers up. Well done toddlers!
As you can tell by the big smiles on their faces, water play is a big hit!
Our preschool children have been focusing on their story of the term 'The Hungry Caterpillar'.
Children have had lots of fun activities set up relating to the book.
Today's activity was making their very own caterpillars. Children practiced their fine motor skills drawing their own circles and using the scissors to cut them out. They all did a fantastic job!
