The Government is set to increase the tax paid by some small independent breweries in the UK. This could lead to brewery closures, and less choice at the bar for you.

CAMRA and the Society of Independent Brewers - SIBA are calling for the Government to think again – we need your help to persuade them that this is bad for UK brewing and bad for consumers.

🎉 And we are back! 🎉 We’re pleased to announce that our beer lounge and taproom will be opening its doors again as of Saturday 4th July between 2pm-10pm!

⭐️ We have of course been putting additional measures in place to ensure the safety of our customers and our staff, so please read on for a quick summary of how it will work...

🍺 We will be operating a booking table service ONLY - to book, head to OpenTable UK (search ‘Hoppily Leigh-on-Sea’) to grab an available slot. Given the size of our bar, we won’t be able to accommodate walk-ins (sorry!) so booking is essential. Our tables will be adhering to 1 metre social distancing, plus we will have a couple of outdoor tables to book too.

⏰ Opening hours will be Fridays 5-10pm, Saturdays 2-10pm and Sundays 3-8pm.

🧼 Strict cleaning measures will be in place at all times. 🍻 All drinks will be served in single-use cups (we have made sure they’re biodegradable).

🚚 For those of you who want to order beers for drinking at home, we will be continuing to offer free local delivery within 15 miles of Hoppily HQ 7 days per week (free and same day delivery when you spend over £15 and order before 5pm 🏠).

And please continue to book a click and collect slot for online orders from the store too, using the usual booking option on the website - we can have your order ready and waiting for picking up safely outside.

I thought I was merely coming here for the amazing tapas but luckily they have some cracking craft beer bars aswell! The Spanish craft beer scene is immense & even tried a Mexican Bloody Mary & Pils cocktail which was surprisingly delicious!

Billericay RFC were the latest bunch to enjoy the mobile Taproom at their Beefest 2019 End of Season celebrations last weekend!
