Finally the gable end downstairs window has been repaired. That side of the cottage receives all the Winter weather. Having ‘window in window casements‘ made by hand took quite a while. The cottage is listed so like for like replacement is only allowed. Before, during and after.
A huge thank you to John Peek for sourcing the materials (R.I.P.) and George the carpenter.
