Sunnier times are looming and we’ve a jam packed season of outdoor events and weddings on the horizon for 2024. We’re therefore looking to develop our team for our busiest year yet!

Sous chefs £200-300 per day
Front of house managers £200-250 per day
Day chefs £15-17.50 per hour
FOH staff £15-17.50 per hour

BLACKSMITH & COOKERY COURSES🔥​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
FORGING BBQ TOOLS 15th SEPTEMBER

We’re already looking forward to our course with in a couple weeks time. This course is a combination of blacksmith workshop and cookery school! The day will be split up into two parts. One, will be taught by the Alex and his team at The Forge, focussing on blacksmithing and traditional blacksmithing skills and how to forge stainless steel BBQ tools.

The other half of the course will be a cookery course taught by us! During this time we will demonstrate a range of cooking techniques, along with how to use, care and maintain your cookware.

Students will get to help prep and cook a meal to enjoy at the end of the day.

Great day playing with fire still a few techniques to tweak to get desired results but it’s amazing what you can achieve outside the box. Is it always necessary or worth it? Absolutely not but on the journey you’ll find things that are, and that’s what it’s about.

Happy new year everyone. 2022 has been a blast from start to finish. We’ve had a baby (she’s so cool), festivals, weddings, new premises, corporate parties, private dining events and most stuff in between covering the length and breadth of the country.
Huge thanks goes out to the team, especially ( and tilly) for taking control when it mattered in July, all the FOH and fire pit staff whether you did one event or 15, our suppliers and local business friends and of course all our event organisers, venues and wedding couples. You’ve all been incredible but without doubt the biggest thanks goes to , putting up with a year of my carnage and the little nugget, that takes some doing xx

With sunnier times looming closer and larger outdoor events and weddings on the horizon we are looking to recruit staff for our packed 2022 calendar. For those who have not come across Asado Fire Kitchen we are a Bridport based event catering team cooking entirely over fire. We build our insane fire kitchen at weddings, festivals, corporate events and even offer cooking courses and private dining. Its not your average catering set up so we need above average staff with a love for great quality produce, a willingness to learn about outdoor eventing and a cracking smile come rain or shine. Font of house managers - £200-250 per day
Be the link between the front of house and the kitchen team whilst organising other front of house staff. Liaise with event organisers to ensure everything stays on track and everyone is happy.

Front of house staff/waiting team £12-15 per hour
Help deliver an out of this world event by being not your average waiter/waitress.

Sous chefs - £150-250 per day
Help provide an experience that will not be forgotten. Looking after every aspect of catering a large event including set up/breakdown kitchen, building and maintaining fires, cooking great quality meat, canapés, wedding breakfast, desserts and evening food.

Day chefs £15 per hour
Working as part of the kitchen team to ensure the service runs better than expected. Help to build canapés, organise main course service, lease with other team members.

We know everyone in the hospitality world is recruiting pre Easter madness right now but here’s what we can offer to those in the industry and those outside, looking to make a bit of extra cash too!
- Above average money, you’re giving up your weekend time and we appreciate that. You can work one wedding or ten, there’s no underlying commitments.
- Awesome food on the job, you’ll be eating the same as the guest. Albeit after them.
- You’ll be part of Bridport most out there catering team and get a lovely mates rate should you need a future event.
- You’ll learn to cook/taste some awesome asado food along the way, Experience isn’t essential for any role as we’ll get you up to speed with our way of doing things.
- local Dorset based events primarily.
- Travel cost and half hourly rate for travel time for any futher away

We’ve had a hectic few weeks/months entertaining all over the southwest so email responses are taking a little longer than usual right now. But… we’re almost there for the season then it’s full on planning for 2022 (which is almost fully booked). If your waiting on a quote, or email, fear not, it won’t be much longer!! I’m generally pretty bad at taking photos. Normally I have grubby hands, I’ve lost my phone, I’m running about thinking about many other things and it’s low on my priority list. This wknd it was a pleasure to have as part of not only the kitchen team but to also spend some time papping us. Looking forward to seeing more of the results and sharing.

Kicked off by storm Evert and some 50mph winds, .meller showcasing his awesome sea bass, smashing out mussels, scallops and John Dory amongst others, with some crazy mushrooms and beautiful tomatoes, with doing amazing things with veg, and his nancarrow farm beef, all held together and mc’d by the south coast legend that is mr . All mixed with some quality music and a fair bit of sun. Everything cooked by open fire on the rig which never faltered, even though Evert tried!
