Congratulations to all Afghan cricket fans for winning a historic match against one of the best teams in the world.

Match summary vs Preston Park cc 4th June.
The opposition won the toss n put us to bat. Faisal n Qadir gave us a blistering start and at the last ball of the 4th we lost Faisal with our score on 49. Soon we were on 53 for 3 after a few quick wickets. But then Omar n Ezaz put on a brilliant partnership. Once again we lost a couple of quick wickets. Then Jano joined Omar in the middle n the two of them put on a useful partnership. Noor ended our innings with a gorgeous cut over point setting a target of 166.
Omar n the debutant Hamza started brilliantly with the ball both taking wickets. Preston Park cc came back with a brilliant partnership with Farukh taking matters in his hands. After a couple of expensive overs Rafi n Faisal started their bowling partnership. But the opposition were never out of the game n runs were coming fast.
They needed 13 of the last 2 overs with 3 wickets in hand. Faisal bowled a superb 19th over conceding only 3 runs n taking a wicket. Last over was brilliantly bowled by Rafi also taking a wicket. End result we won by 7 runs.
Superb all around performance by Omar with the bat, ball and later when he put on keeping gloves.

Preston Park won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Seagulls openers Faisal Nassiri and Qadir Khan started very well, followed by other batsmen Ahmad Wali, Omar Nassiri, Ezaz Safi, Spin Shinwari, Jano Khan, Noorullah, Noor Mama, and Hamza Khan. The Seagulls put a total of 165 on the board with 7 wickets down.
With the bowling, Hamza and Omar both started brilliantly, followed by Qadir Khan, Noor Mama, Noorullah, and at the end, Faisal Nassiri and Rafiullah. With brilliant bowling, the Seagulls won the match by 7 runs. It was great teamwork once again.

Rottingdean won the toss and decided to bat first, putting a total of 189 on the board in 20 overs. The Seagulls chased it down in 17.2 overs, with brilliant batting from Azam Khan and Omar Nassiri, and great bowling by Rafie.
