Have just hung my painting for the duration of the Arts Festival, here in Brighton.
Mel the owner, asked me it’s title.
Well I rarely do titles as I might have mentioned previously but this one did have one when I made it.
I was listening to Jonathan Richmond who sang of the jazz pianist Cecil Taylor who played for a president, not sure which one, on the White House Lawn. The preceding line” Heaven and Earth Collide” became its title.
But my titles are fluid . . . maybe now it should be “Secret Garden”

PS I’m also at with many other fine artists during the festival. See their own post and helpful video to see how close this co-working space is to the station. This is the first time they have been in Open Houses, it is a must see space with some great paintings. Hope to see some of you on Sunday morning from 10.00 when I’m there invigilating.
