Day Two the miraculous Moringa Leaf takes over my kitchen counter. The superfood of teas and loaded with antioxidants and healing powers, Moringa is finally making its way onto grocery shelves. Just Google Moringa health benefits then run and make yourself a brew! 🍃

It’s time to fight back against COVID and strengthen our immune systems. Rooibos is up first on my kitchen counter…yes, I know it’s a bush not a plant, but we still call it tea! You can blend it with flavours if all kinds, but this lovely malty and sweet version from my good friends at is a tasty caffeine-free tonic.

Lovely start to the Easter weekend with a Mother/Daughter excursion to the Grand Opening of the beautiful walled gardens at . A one-week-old lamb to stay on theme of new beginnings! Stay tuned for the blooms!

Delighted to receive this beautiful Bay Leaf tree from my two heartbeats for Mother’s Day! It will look regal outside my front door, and even better steeped as tea! Bay leaves mare a rich source of vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Also regular inclusion of bay leaves in meals promotes general health. They have been proven to be useful in the treatment of migraines and are a natural sedative for a good nights sleep. Ah...so blessed.

Not perfect, but not bad for a Monday! lemon tart with strawberries and Blueberries.a nice Earl Grey should go just nicely.

An exquisite display from for homemade tea and flower infused cookies. They’re even kind enough to share the recipe!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup soft butter.
- 1/2 cup sugar.
- 2 cups all purpose flour.
- 1 teaspoon ground Camellia's Afternoon black tea.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- A box of edible flowers.

Instruction:
- Preheat oven at 180c/350f and line a baking sheet with wax paper.
- Whisk sugar and butter till light and fluffy, in a bowl.
- Add flour, tea powder and vanilla extract, then mix them well to create a dough.
- Add a few drops of water to bind the dough.
- Refrigerate the dough for half hour.
- Pull off small sections of the dough and roll between 2 pieces of wax paper till 1/4 inch thick.
- Use a cookie cutter to shape out the cookie and gently decorate with flowers. To secure the flowers, cover the cookie with wax paper and roll lightly.
- Bake them for approximately 10 minutes or till slightly golden. Then let them cool down on a rack.

Put them all in a glass jar or biscuit tin for gifting, or serve as an afternoon tea snack with a pot of your favourite tea on a side.
