Not long now till your mighty ninjas get their next (or first) belt! This Friday and Saturday our dojo will be full of excited and maybe slightly nervous young samurai in training (give them a little hug, they’re doing so well).

If your child has a black stripe and you have an email inviting them, please ensure you’ve paid as payments can’t be taken on the day.

Please remember spectators will only be allowed into those grading for yellow, green or blue belts due to the maturing nature of our trainees and their awareness of being watched by a large audience. We want to ensure they are performing at their best without added nerves.

For over 16s only, we have our weapons class starting this evening for three months, taking you right through to May.
Come join us at 7.30 for an hour every Thursday evening for an extended course into sword syllabus (for future belt grading), sword culture, sparring - Bamboo Shinnai and IAI sword drawing (amongst other sword skills)

To mark the start of a new year, the momentous reopening of our dojo and the welcoming back of so many of our teen samurai, many of whom were mighty ninjas when we first closed, we are throwing a Samurai new Year party “ganjitsu” - Japanese New Year.

There will be games, a quiz, food and soft drinks and it’ll all take place 27th January in our dojo between 6 and 9pm.
No need for a Gi, get your teen’s glad rags on and leave them with us for a fun packed evening.

Today is our last day before closing for the Christmas holidays.
From all of us here at the Samurai centre we would like to thank you all for your continued support this year.
We have loved reopening our doors and seeing your wonderful smiling faces coming through, we’ve loved seeing your children learn and grow and we’ve loved being able to spend time with you all again.
We’ll be open again for the first full day of lessons in the New Year on January 3rd (don’t forget to put the date in your new calendars!)

The joy our little ninjas feel from gaining their next belt can’t really be described in words.

Mighty Ninjas will be grading 3rd and 4th December
Mini Ninjas will be grading 9th and 10th December
Adults and Jujutsu headings will be 17th December with a celebratory after party.
