The day was full of colour, laughter, Irish craic and delicious food, culminating in a traditional cèilidh where guests danced the night away!

We’re Recruiting!

We’re on the hunt for an Assistant Manager to join us at The Watershed at Brighton marina Yacht Club.

Our team are a friendly and dedicated bunch, focused on delivering great food, drink and customer service.

Assistant Manager duties include personnel and venue management on shift, assisting with team training, stock management and taking an active role in events and socials at the club.

Previous management experience within the hospitality or retail sectors would be an advantage and help the right candidate to hit the ground running. The role could also be an ideal first step into management role for someone with a good amount of bar/restaurant experience. Team work and great communication are a must, some knowledge and experience of using social media platforms is desirable.

Salary is £26-£28k pa (based on a 46 hour working week) plus share of tips. A part time position could also be considered. As a hospitality role, candidates would be expected to work Bank Holidays and weekends throughout the year. There are 28 days paid holiday, staff meals on shift and pension scheme options. Ideal start date is by mid February.

These tasty morsels at Jess + Luke’s wedding at went down an absolute treat!
* wild mushroom arancini with red pepper ketchup
* mini Yorkshire puds with roast beef and horseradish créme
* chorizo pâté en croute with bocconcini pearls
It’s a good thing they were only bite size so guests could leave room for the rest of the wedding breakfast! 😋

It’s Friday! So there’s no reason to feel Blue… but if you haven’t had a Gouda week, Emmental you that your weekend is going to Brie much Cheddar because it’s a bank holiday! But if you Stilton believe me, then this cheese table we catered at a recent wedding that was brimming with crackers, breads and cheese straws, homemade pickles and chutneys, fresh fruit, crudités and more, might do the trick! 🧀

These tasty morsels are Scotch whisky cured trout blinis with lemon creme fraiche and pork rillette with onion chutney on a dried apple disc.
