Stay Beautiful Club

Hello everyone, not sure if anyone is even seeing these notifications any more, but... Simon here from Stay Beautiful.

For the last few years, I've basically been using the Stay Beautiful group and page as a dumping ground for spam for my other club night, Spellbound. I've decided I don't wanna do that any more. I regret ever doing it. I'd rather the Stay Beautiful page sits there as a ghostly memorial to Stay Beautiful itself, and that the group exists for people to share memories of all the times they had at Stay Beautiful and talk about anything SB-related. (Or just to sit there silent and empty. Whichever.)

In fact, in due course I'll probably go back and delete any Spellbound spam from the feed, though that's gonna take aaages...

Brighton friends! Coming up on Friday 31st May, SCARED TO DANCE www.scaredtodance.co.uk – the excellent and very popular London indie night – is coming down to the south coast for a one-off at Komedia!

In the past, Scared To Dance's guest DJs up in the Smoke have included Elis James, Big Joanie, Nish Kumar, Copa Del Rey-winning Spain international Gaizka Mendieta (this is actually true) and FA Cup runner-up and Scotland international Pat Nevin (this is also true). This time it's... well, it's me, Stay Beautiful/Spellbound host and Cure/Manics biographer Simon Price!

Alongside DJ Paul Richards, I'll be playing a mix of Indie Pop, Post-Punk, Synthpop, a bit of Northern Soul, and anything else that feels right on the night.
