Ditch the Label
The global youth charity, here to help you overcome the issues affecting you the most. Welcome to Ditch the Label - one of the world's leading youth charities.
Each week, we provide pioneering and award-winning support to thousands of people aged 12-25, helping them to overcome the issues affecting them the most; whether that's bullying, mental health or the tough bits in between. We also produce world-class research, educational resources and public awareness campaigns designed to generate positive societal changes.
Huge congratulations to our founder and CEO, Liam Hackett, on receiving an MBE in the New Year Honours List for his exceptional contributions to youth empowerment and mental health support!
His tireless efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of young people are truly inspiring and we are incredibly proud of his achievement.
As the holiday season approaches, we are temporarily closing our support community between Saturday 23rd December to Monday 1st January.
During this time, our amazing team of mentors will be taking a well-deserved break to spend time with family and friends, recharge, and celebrate the festivities.
We understand that support is crucial, and we apologise for any inconvenience or disruption this may cause.
We've included a list of crisis organisations in this post which are available over the holiday season if you need support during this time ❤️
For those that celebrate, all of us at Ditch the Label wish you a happy and peaceful holiday season and a Happy New Year! ✨

We've all been there - that moment when a friend says something, leaving you feeling uneasy. It can be super awkward and sometimes intimidating to address it 😬
✨ That's where 'calling in' comes in ✨
Instead of 'calling out,' which can feel shaming, 'calling in' means opening up a conversation about their behaviour. Often, they might not even realise their mistake, so one honest chat can lead to a change in perspective 💖
Detecting unconscious bias is challenging because, well, it's literally unconscious!
Understanding the factors that contribute to unconscious bias can really help us recognise when it's happening 🔎
👉 Find out the 5 key things to know about unconscious bias ✨
