NEW SIGNING 📝 | We are pleased to announce that 25-year-old forward, David Sims-Burgess, has agreed to join us and, subject to the completion and acceptance of the necessary paperwork, David should be available for Tuesday’s home match with Hampton & Richmond Borough.

South Gloucestershire based David has had a successful start to the season at Yate Town and has been very influential in the games where we have monitored his progress closely. He is flexible and adaptable in any of the attacking positions and will add healthy competition to the squad.

“During the repairs to the floodlights last night there was a period when power had to be turned off to allow safe replacement of the defective part. Sadly it has been reported that a few supporters took this opportunity to enter the field of play and remove some of Dover Athletic’s footballs. This matter was brought to our attention by Dover Athletic and the Police who were in attendance. Whilst this may appear to be a minor issue replacing the footballs will cost your club in excess of £250 and also damages the reputation of Yate Town. We would very much appreciate it if the footballs could be returned to the ground, this can be done anonymously by simply leaving by any of the entrance gates, preferably thrown over the fence. We appreciate that it was a frustrating night for all involved but this does not excuse this kind of behaviour.”
