WE'RE HIRING SUMMER STAFF

We're looking for casual Catering Assistants to join our team for the busy summer season.

Weekend work is essential and you must be 16 or over.

Duties include serving customers, delivering food, waiting on tables in our restaurant carriage, clearing tables and cleaning, washing up, general cleaning, serving from our outdoor kiosk and candy cart as well as helping on our first-class dining trains.

Training is provided.

Must be confident when talking to customers and handling cash.
Immediate Start available.

TOMORROW is our MEMBERS DAY! 🚂

One of the most popular features of our Member's Day last year was our Freight Services which members can ride onboard for FREE! This year we have our steam locomotive and diesel locomotive swapping throughout the day between our passenger and freight set, giving you the opportunity to ride a steam-hauled freight train!

Members can ride all day free on both passenger and freight trains (limited capacity).

Tickets are available, including day rovers, for normal passengers but do not give access to the freight set. Memberships will be available on the day at normal prices, you can also get your membership online now:

🎥 Last year we were lucky enough to be chosen as one of the filming locations for the series 'A Good Girl's Guide to Murder', which has just been released on BBC iPlayer today!

The BBC Three / Moonage Pictures adaptation of Holly Jackson's debut young adult mystery crime novel was filmed on location, in and around Somerset, and we feature in one of the scenes as a dimly-lit country railway station at night - the perfect setting for some of the key characters to meet, including main character 'Pip' played by 'Emma Myers'.

Income from filming helps support the railway by enabling us to continue our latest restoration and maintenance projects, and we always like seeing ourselves on screen!
