OCTOBER 18th at CLOAK

Q***r punk music from .gorz.gorz and !
Early bird tickets available on Headfirst now ⭐️

Since their formation in Sheffield in 2016, FEMUR have unleashed a ferocious deluge of music, captivating audiences and embodying “the bewildering, hook-filled, psych grunge onslaught we’ve come to expect” (Exposed Magazine, 2023).

Q***R PUNK band, based in Briztol but will conquer the wurld, GorZ are multidisciplinary artists amplifying their voices about societal ills. Incorporating avant garde theatrics and paper mache props into their live sets, the collective is an audio visual project as much as it is a band. Shedding their skin to talk on topics like skin tags, consumerism and trans rights. Having played with The Oozes, Tokky Horror, Skating Polly and Snooper they display a graphic insight into the dirty and enraged mind of GorZ.

French Toast is a London based band playing an eclectic range of sound going from soul to garage, and from rock to grunge. They fuse eccentric melodies and crazy guitar riffs, all this in a high fever punk energy. Their style is innovative as they add electronic synthesizer sounds to their sets, giving them an out of this world experience. Their songs talk about love and screams, about their values and their vision of the world.

See you there 💋

SCARLETT FAGAN

Scarlett Fagan is a London born/Bristol based soul singer and songwriter. In May 2022 she released her first solo album called ‘Conscious’ which is a perfect blend of Soul, Jazz and RnB and was produced by the amazingly talented Matthew Dyer.
The album is very personal and the lyrics are about Scarlett’s life experiences, however a few of the songs are written solely with the audience/listeners in mind and have been designed deliberately to uplift and inspire. Drawing inspiration from soul/jazz legends such as Amy Winehouse and Etta James, Scarlett’s live performance will be raw and honest but with a sultry, seductive edge.

RUBY GEDDES

Ruby Geddes started recording and performing in Edinburgh. Whilst immersed in the city’s thriving traditional folk scene, and captivated by its rich geological history, they began to write music inspired by the genre’s ability to connect people across time and call to a deep sense of home. They sought to extend this to the more-than-human world. Now beginning to settle into the eclectic alt-folk scene of Bristol, Geddes continues to craft contemporary folk that speaks to their kinship with the natural world – solace found in cycles of minerals, light, growth and decay, in eternal change and deep time; their songs grieve and resolve with the seasons. An inquisitive musical topography forms the ground for enthralling lyrics as soft, easeful vocals invite you to travel with them across a range of low tunings, changing time signatures, and diverse song structures.
