It's The Clockwork Rose's 7th Birthday this month, and to celebrate we have a brand new menu!

Continuing The Adventures of Captain Sebastian Commodore, we'll be soft launching the next Chapter - Part VII : The Beasts of the Boundless Immeasurable - this weekend, with the full list releasing later on this month!

Reservations are recommended but we do have walk-in tables available too - first come first serve.

Today we said our final goodbyes to a wonderful person and Mother, Marie Wigg.

Her light touched so many people over the years including many of our staff and guests. She had an incredible ability to bring out the best in people, and her support and guidance, got us through those first few years of finding our feet at The Clockwork Rose.

Marie, you will be missed but your love shines on in our hearts.

We have set up a Just Giving Page (below) for The Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre, for their incredible work and support during her final days.

Black Tot Day is nearly here 🖤🥃

Commemorate the last time the Royal Navy received their Rum ration, by drinking rum with us!

Wednesday 31st July is Black Tot Day, and this year we ring in 54 years since the Last Tot.

To mark the occasion we have the Port of Bristol Shanty Crew performing, a very special menu of Admiral Rodney Rum Cocktails and a Charity Raffle, all to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust!

All proceeds from the raffle will go to the charity along with £1 from every Admiral Rodney cocktail sold! Entry is free but donations are encouraged.

Donations can be made in person or by purchasing a "ticket". Tickets are not necessary for attendance and are only used for donations.

New Whiskies coming to our Nightcap Menu!

We had a good ol' training session on Highland Park this week ready for their addition to our Nightcap section.

Sometimes this can be a really difficult job. Sometimes.

Last chance to try our Barrel Aged Infinity Rum Old Fashioned!

Started in March with 16 rums, and aged for 4 months, we have since added, Duppy Share, Brugal, El Dorado Single Casks, Diplomatico and FAIR, bringing the total to 30 blended rums in the barrel!

We realise "infinity" implies never ending however we needed to drain the barrel due to a leak 😢

We'll never be able to recreate this one exactly but we will be starting a new one as soon as we get a fresh barrel. In the meantime come on by and try the last of this tasty Old Fashioned!

☀️ UPDATE: Summer Opening Hours ☀️

From July we will be operating on our Summer Opening Hours to give our team a break during the season.

The new opening hours are:

Sun, Mon, Tue - CLOSED
Wed - 5pm to Midnight
Thu - 5pm to Midnight
Fri - 4pm to Midnight
Sat - 4pm to Midnight

Last orders called at 11:30pm inside, and 10:30pm outside in the Street Bar.

Looks like Mead's back on the menu boys!

Hive Mind have just released their spiced honey rum and we're very excited!

We're already big fans of this meadery and have loads of delicious mead options from them available for you at The Clockwork Rose.

🚀⚫ Infinity Prolonged ⚫🚀

The 6th and final cocktail of our Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy menu, spanning almost 7 years!

Infinity Prolonged represents the 6th and final book in the ever misnamed "Trilogy". This cocktail is a bittersweet strawberry flavour and uses Cynar Amaro, Strawberry Shrub, Malic, Saline and Black Ink with the signature float of Wray & Nephew Rum.

This cocktail will be available when our new menu launches in September but you can have a sneak peek of it on Sunday 26th May during our Towel Day celebration!

It's Ti'Punch week and to celebrate we've made a very special variation on this Martinique classic!

Introducing Ti'Brûlée a generous helping of Clement Rhum Agricole Blanc, our house crème brulee syrup made from a Ceylon Caramel tea, and seasoned with orange bitters.

The funky agricole stands up tall against the sweet dark syrup and both are brightened by subtle orange notes brought in by the bitters.
