Before we get to the business of our Christmas opening hours, we just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has commented on our last post or sent us a message over the weekend. We haven’t had time to reply to all of them individually but have read every single one and really appreciate all the love and support.

That said, we are still here for all your fruit & vegetable needs this Christmas so here are our Christmas Opening Hours this year.

Monday 19th - Saturday 24th (Christmas Eve) 8 am- 5 pm
Sunday 25th CLOSED
Monday 26th CLOSED
Tuesday 27th CLOSED
Wednesday 28th CLOSED
Thursday 29th 8 am - 4 pm
Friday 30th 8 am - 4 pm
Saturday 31st 8am - 4 pm

Delivery slots for Christmas week are filling up, so if you would like a delivery in the run-up to the big day, pop us a Facebook message and we can arrange delivery of either our Christmas Fruit & Veg Box or your shopping list.

Delivery days for Christmas week will be Mon 19th, Tues 20th, Thurs 22nd, Fri 23rd & Sat 24th Dec.

We would like to announce that after being part of the East Street family for over 30 years, we have made the very hard decision to sell our business.

We have put our heart and soul into East Street Fruit Market, and this has not been an easy decision to come to, but with the many factors and challenges facing small businesses right now, we have decided it is time to take a step back and focus on our young family.

The good news is that East Street Fruit Market will continue under new ownership, and our brilliant team will retain their jobs. It is our hope that under the new ownership, the business will continue to serve the local community, providing a place to buy quality, fresh produce.

We would like to thank absolutely every single one of our customers, past and present, for supporting our family business, both in the shop and online. We really will miss you all.

And a huge thank you needs to go out to our brilliant team, who work tirelessly to provide a friendly, welcoming service (even when the weather is as cold as it is today)
