This is a quick reminder that the Early Bird offer for the 3-day theatre clown workshop on 4-6 May in Bristol ends on Monday, the 8th of April.
Whether you're an experienced performer or new to the world of clowning, this workshop is an opportunity to deepen your skills, focus on your creativity, and connect with a community of creatives.
Clown work is a profound practice which benefits every performer - and human - who wants to feel more grounded, open and present. It offers a subtle yet powerful form of performance that demands acute listening, empathy, and emotional generosity, allowing us to delve deep into our inner world and find humour in our shared humanity. Within the vast spectrum of clowning, performers discover a landscape where they can explore their unique presence on stage, embodying what feels most authentic and enjoyable for them. It's not about forcing or doing a lot; instead, it's a process of being and allowing - and sometimes enduring -, where we surrender to the natural flow of the moment, letting things evolve organically. This style is uniquely about you, where you are encouraged to be intensively and unapologetically yourself. Come on board and tell your friends - some places are still available!
