Our Story

Diplomats Of Sound is a creative & independent booking agency, driven by a desire to push the boundaries of new music and trusted to provide music with passion & integrity. We work on interesting and unique musical projects with bespoke strategies & solutions covering artist representation, event production, event programming and talent buying.

Over the last 5 years the Diplomats have developed long standing, fruitful relationships with both artists & promoters that have allowed the agency to grow to over 125 acts.

Our roster spans a variety of genres, specialising in tours & festival bookings across the UK & EU for international and UK based acts.

We are also the coordinators and central booking agents for Joss Stones Total World Tour. A project that will see her perform in 196 countries by the end of 2018.

Diplomats of Sound was born from the activities of the critically acclaimed and award winning festival venue ‘Chai Wallahs’ which has established a glowing reputation for showcasing the finest emerging artists.

Through this vast programming experience the directors realised a glaring need for an approachable, friendly, efficient booking agency that could create mutually beneficial relationships with promoters and artists.
Event Programming & Production

The team behind the Diplomats event programming and production department have programmed in excess of 3000 performances at many of the most renowned festivals and venues across the UK and Europe including Glastonbury, Womad, Boomtown, Secret Garden Party, Green Man, Shambala, Lovebox, Wilderness, Bestival, Fusion and Electric Picnic.

We have also produced numerous live music events and club nights, UK and European tours, private corporate events, fundraisers for charities, and VIP bars.

Working alongside our sister company ‘Chai Wallahs’, other like minded agencies and festival programmers, we have access to a large and diverse roster of highly talented artists and offer an abundance of musical creativity to fulfill the desires of any audience.

Our Live bands, DJ’s and beatboxers cover just about every genre and style of music including; Jazz, Folk, Blues, Acoustic Soul, Northern Soul, Alternative Rock, Electronica, Electronic Dance, Hip Hop, Ska, Reggae, Afro Beat, Funk, Balkan, Gypsy and World music.

Whether you are looking for a particular theme, an eclectic evening, or an outright foot stomping party the Diplomats of Sound are guaranteed to provide a musical program that will leave your audience or guests in awe.

We can also provide a range of venue, stage, sound, lighting and bar production packages to suit your requirements and budget, and have a wealth of experience in sound design utilising the worlds leading D&B audio systems.

Our team of highly experienced stage, sound and lighting crews are capable of hosting a large number of acts and delivering a faultless production with fast changeover times to allow for a smooth and overall engaging show experience.

Our team of friendly, reliable and professional drivers & tour managers have experience in UK, European and international tour management and can cater a package to suit your specific needs and budget.

From booking transport, hotels, hiring backline, preparing tour books and managing merchandise sales, to making sure that the bookers fulfill their technical and hospitality riders, we will make sure your tour runs as smoothly as possible.
