NTT Fundraising
A Bristol institution, NTT has been at the heart of fundraising for more than 35 years.
NTT Fundraising is a refreshing, alternative and utterly brilliant Telephone Fundraising agency based in Bristol. Operating since 1988, initially as ActionAid's National Telephone Team (NTT), we've since branched out, regrouped, degrouped and now operate as an independent organisation committed to providing the world with an ethical, transparent product and really emotionally engaging calls.
Christmas is upon us and we want to say a huge thank you to all who have worked with us and supported us throughout the year.
We also want to say an even bigger thank you to our staff - all of you! Your hard work, passion and your individuality really does make NTT who we are.
We are looking forward to smashing 2024 with all of you!
Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year ๐
It's the beginning of National Tree Week ๐ณ Organised by The Tree Council, this is the UK's largest annual tree celebration where we can all come together to plant thousands of trees to mark the start of the tree planting season.
Also this year marks the 50th anniversary of the famous โPlant a Tree in 73โ campaign!
Trees are so important - they offer protection to us and our wildlife, provide clean air, store carbon and help the climate.
You can visit these fab pages for ideas on how you can get involved this week:

Our friends at FearFree are encouraging you lovely folk to take part in a 16 day challenge - do one small thing to help make a difference each day for 16 days.
By doing so, youโll be joining thousands of people campaigning across the world against abuse during the 16 Days of Action, an international campaign against gender-based violence.
Here's what you can do:
1. Pick a challenge based on the number 16. It could be fundraising, volunteering or spreading awareness of their work.
2. If fundraising, set up your fundraising page on Enthuse.
3. Tell friends and family about your challenge and get them involved.
4. Help make a difference.
FearFree are an amazing charity based in the South West. They help and support people to recover after domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking.
Please check out their page and website for more information on the work they do and how to take part in their challenge.

Happy Halloween folks ๐
Does anyone else feel like this year has flown by? Summer seems like a distant memory and there is already talk about *whispers* Christmas...
However there is a lot happening before we even reach December and it's starting this weekend:
Yes, it's that time of year where we put the clocks back an hour.
We have an extra hour in bed, at a Halloween party, up with the kids or walking the dog!
However you spend it, this is your annual reminder to put your clocks back (or spend the morning wondering if your phone has updated automatically) and look forward to the wintery events ahead.

Today is Summer Solstice and around 8000 people travelled to Stonehenge this morning to celebrate and watch the sunrise. Did you make the trip to Stonehenge or did you watch the sunrise from somewhere special? Whether you are celebrating Summer Solstice, are in the queue for Glastonbury or just appreciating the longest day of the year, we hope you enjoy it!
It's and we couldn't think of a better day to encourage you to donate blood or plasma, if you are able to.
Did you know blood donations can be used:
- for life-saving emergencies, like surgery and childbirth
- for life-enhancing treatments
- to combat cancer
- to help fight sickle cell
In one hour, you can save up to three lives.
We followed our HR Officer Kayleigh on her recent donation - here is her experience and what to expect when you donate.
"I made sure I ate and drank plenty before my appointment as advised, especially as it was a warm day. When I arrived they gave me some squash and a packet of crisps while I completed my forms. This is to check anything medical, if I had been travelling and if there is anything that may prevent me from donating.
They checked my iron levels, went through my form with me and confirmed that I was eligible to donate.
During the donation I watched tv while completing small exercises (such as clenching my fists & raising my legs) to keep my blood pumping.
Once I had finished, I had some more squash and a chocolate bar (or two).
I was told not to have a hot bath, no heavy lifting and no strenuous exercise for the next 24 hours which was fine by me! I also had to keep hydrated so lots more water.
The whole process took about an hour, everyone was really friendly and made me feel comfortable.
Later that day I booked in for my next (seventh!) donation which is in 16 weeks and I will continue to donate as long as I am able."
