The hungry caterpillar theme went down a storm.
We extended the children's learning to fruit & veg and knife skills& safety which the children thoroughly enjoyed.

Finally spring is arriving at Lynda's childminding services, the children have chosen the colour of the week, ORANGE!

The children were so excited to find a new kitchen in the role play area, they absolutely love it and the conversations between the children have been amazing.

Today 3 big children have their final fun day at Lynda's childminding services 🥰
What a pleasure it has been watching these children learn and grow and form special relationship with myself and the children.
I wish them and their families all the best, and thank the parent for all the tshirts, they are fab.

Really useful information for parents that are worried about their children starting school. Independence and life skills are the best way to get your children ready for school.
We are exploring colours and developing our language over the next few weeks, also using diffrent shapes and resources to stack, balance and create to inspire children's imagination.

We have had so much fun getting ready for the Pirate festival, we've seen the Pirate ships, we met a real life pirate captain blackheart we've dressed up made masks and treasure maps and so much more.

February has been a busy fast month! we have been focusing on fine motor skills, strengthening our thumb and index finger and talking about feelings.
Peel and stick stickers were fun, we've threaded, used poppers and much more to help build the foundation for children's early writing.

Christmas has arrived!!
The children and I loved doing the decorations today.
We had so much fun doing this, it really encouraged conversation about facial features and the colour of children's eyes and the differences.
After the children began role playing with them encouraging speech and language 😁
