Whilst the 1st team does not have a game, our Development side starts life in the UCL Reserve league with a home game against Irchester United.

With the holiday season upon us, we are extremely short of volunteers to help behind the scenes.

Following our 1-1 draw on Saturday we welcome Longlevens to the Gate this evening for our FA Cup 1st Pre Qualifying round replay.

It would be a huge help if we could have a few additional pairs of hands from 6pm, at the ground to help get everything ready.

Only 5 days to go until we make the trip to Longlevens.

There are still a few seats left on the coach.

Leaving the Club at 11am
Leaving Longlevens at 6pm (return time 8pm approx.)

We have one last ask, Can you spare 1/2/3 hours on Saturday from 10am.

We still have several things that need to be completed before the start of the season, including:

Painting and repairing the stand.
Repairing the dugouts.
Erecting Fencing
General tidying

With our first Home preseason game on Thursday evening, we are looking for volunteers, who can spare an hour or so on Wednesday evening at 7pm to help put up the goals and nets.

This will be followed on Saturday with a big final push in getting the ground ready for the start of the season.

With the season only 3 weeks away we still have plenty of things that need doing to make the ground ready for our first home game.

Can you spare a few hours Saturday morning to help with Cleaning, Painting, mowing, weeding or general tidying?

Promotion to Step 5 of National League system has brought the most positive and historic uplift for the club, it will be a massive step up, bringing various challenges, which, one by one, with our amazing volunteers we will deal with.
As part of the promotion ground grading the club must undertake significant ground improvements including a new supporter stand, hard standing and other structural improvements.
We are therefore looking to launch a fundraising campaign and are asking our supporters and local businesses to consider making a donation, of whatever amount they feel they can afford, via our online. Gofundme page.

We will also be introducing a named seat initiative, which will raise £100 per seat. A plaque containing donors’ names or dedications will remain in place for the life of the stand. We will put out some more information on this in due course.
