Hi all,
There will be roadworks and temporary traffic lights over Branston bridge for the next 2 weeks. Please consider this when travelling to your appointment.
Thanks
Claire&Stu
Hi all,
There are roadworks and temporary traffic lights over the railway bridge on Branston Road for the next 2 weeks, they are causing delays. Please consider this whilst travelling to your hair appointment.
Thank you
Hi all
Due to a rise in our operating costs including energy and stock, we’re unfortunately having to take the decision from October 1st to have a small price increase by £2 per service. For example a ladies Cut & Blowdry will now be £37 and there will be an extra £2 on the colour service a client has, so if you do have cut and colour together there will be an extra £4 on your overall bill. All clients will still receive a complimentary Blowdry with all stand alone colour services.
Thanks for understanding
Stuart & Claire
Morning all,
Just a quick post to inform you that the salon will be closed from 20th July until 6th August.
Any calls or messages will be responded to when we reopen.
Thanks
Stuart and Claire x
UPDATE
After a recent update from the prime minister as of tomorrow you will be required to wear a face mask to your hair appointment.
We recommend disposable masks for colour services.
Thanks
Claire&Stu
We just wanted to update everyone regarding restrictions being lifted tomorrow. As everyone knows cases of Covid are on the rise, so we have decided that we are going to continue with keeping safety measures in place, sanitising equipment, chairs etc and only having one client at a time unless from the same household. Also myself and Claire will continue to wear masks to keep you and ourselves safe. We will leave it up to clients discretion if they wish to wear a mask or not.
Stay Safe.
Stuart & Claire.
Morning

Hi all,
Following the government’s announcement in parliament today regarding the easing of lockdown, we are delighted to announce we have a reopening date of the 12th April!!
(This date is subject to change by the government depending on any rise in Covid 19 data.)
We will be contacting clients to rebook their appointments in the order that you were originally booked in, we feel that this is the fairest way.
For those who had an appointment cancelled during the November lockdown, don’t worry you’re at the top of our list.
Please be patient whilst you wait to hear from us as we start the task of rebooking 244 appointments.
Take care
Claire & Stu
Hooray!!! The news we’ve all been waiting for hairdressers can reopen on the 12th April!!
More information to follow
Good morning everyone,
Due to the tier 4 restrictions we find ourselves in,we’re unfortunately closed for the foreseeable future. The tier system is reviewed every 2 weeks, we currently have no idea when we will be able to open again.
If you have an existing booking with us during the times we have to close, please don’t worry, we’ll be in touch with your options as soon as we have a reopening date.
We are aware that some of you are still waiting for an appointment that had to be cancelled during lockdown in November, you will be on our priority list.
Thank you all for your continued support,we wish you all well, and a happy new year! Stay safe and we’ll look forward to welcoming you back when we’re able.
Claire & Stu xx
Hi everyone,
After today’s announcement we are unfortunately having to close our doors again as of midnight tonight.
We’re taking some time to digest the information and will post another update soon
Stay safe xx
Salon cleaned today from top to bottom in anticipation of welcoming our lovely clients back when restrictions are lifted. Those of you who had an appointment booked in November, please don’t worry if you haven’t heard from us yet, I’m working my way down the list and will be in touch soon.
Stay safe
Claire & Stu
Hello everyone
Following the governments announcement yesterday, we will be closed from Thursday 5th Novemeber and hoping to reopen after the 2nd December .All appointments that are booked in on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th will still be going ahead.
Appointments booked from Thursday 5th unfortunately will be unable to go ahead.
Stuart and I are currently deciding on the best course of action to get appointments rebooked and will be in touch in due course, although please be mindful that we have a very busy time of year looming on the other side of this lockdown and it may prove difficult to be able to see everyone before Christmas, but we promise we will do our best.
Stay safe and well
Claire and Stuart
MASKS/FACE COVERINGS
Hi everyone, I have an update from the National federation of hairdressers and barbers.
The government guidelines about face coverings for England have been updated. The guidelines now say that you should strongly encourage clients to wear a face covering in enclosed public spaces such as salons and barbershops where social distancing may be difficult and where clients come into contact with people that they do not normally meet.
Stuart and I have been wearing face visors since we reopened on the 4th July and followed government guidance that no additional PPE was required to be worn by our clients, however with a change in guidance being published yesterday, if you have an appointment with us you WILL need to wear a mask, if you are having a colour we do recommend wearing a disposable mask as the pieces around the ears may get stained.
Thank you.
UPDATE
Hi everyone, just a quick update with some guidance of what to expect on your next visit.

Hi all, we’ve being given the green light by the government to re open our salon. Please be patient as we now start the task of contacting you all to start the rebooking process. We will be contacting you in the order that your original appointment was booked as this is the fairest way. Looking forward to seeing you all soon
Taken from the hair and barber council Instagram account. No news as of yet on a reopening date for salons in England or guidelines being published.
Hair and beauty government guidelines will be released by the government on Thursday. These should give us information on how we will be able to operate when we’re allowed to reopen our salon.
Thank you everybody for your patience and understanding.
UPDATE
Evening,we hope everybody is well and have an update for you regarding our return to work and your hair appointments.
As an industry we are still waiting for a definitive date from UK GOV of when we will be able to re open, the guideline set by the government road map of the 4th July is only a provisional date. We won’t be booking any appointments until we have a definite reopening date set by UK GOV. This is to prevent us having to re schedule your appointments if the date were to be pushed back.
When we do have a date we plan on contacting clients in the order that their original appointment was booked to start the rebooking process. Please be assured that Stuart and I will do our upmost to ensure that your new appointment is booked and can be carried out in environment that is safe for both you and us.
As government guidance is issued we will keep you updated with precautions that will be put in place to make sure your visit is a safe and enjoyable one.
Hopefully it won’t be much longer until we have more news and we look forward to welcoming you back.
Stu & Claire
