Your morning skincare products are to protect and prevent damage to your skin.

Use vitamin C to protect your skin from UVA sun damage, it boosts collagen production and brightens your skin. SPF 50 should be the last product you put on your face every morning to protect your skin from sun damage. (I know I always say it but SPF is the most effective and cheapest anti-aging skincare product you can use!!)

Your evening skincare routine is to treat and repair your skin.

Skin purging is an acne breakout that occurs when using skincare products that accelerate cell turnover.

These specific types of breakouts often appear after you use a new product with powerful active ingredients. Purging is going to bring preexisting clogged hair follicles to the surface and will potentially turn into whiteheads, blackheads, papules, pustules, and cysts.
