It’s okay to talk about Mental Health this week, next week and thereafter.

The Treatment Rooms and operate a “Don’t Panic” policy for all clients who may feel anxious or uncomfortable during your treatment.

Ways in which we can help you feel more comfortable include -
💠Leaving the door open during your treatment to feel less claustrophobic
💠If you would like to pause your treatment at any time for a break, raise your hand or tell your therapist
💠For massage or any treatment you are partially undressed, we have robes available to cover up and take a break
💠If you have a preferred therapist that you feel comfortable with, just select that therapist on our booking system or ask when you make your booking - we won't be offended!

If there are any other ways in which we can help make your time with us more comfortable, please let us know and we will always try our best to be accommodating and supportive of your needs.

This is targeted to all those who suffer silently with the sometimes debilitating disorder of panic and anxiety attacks.

We have taken measures as a business to ensure client comfortability to make it a safe space for your treatments if you suffer with panic attacks.

Our amazing resident nurse is also a walk leader for the charity .

Fantastic achievement for the The Treatment Room!

Posted • We are so unbelievably excited to announce that we have been selected as BOUTIQUE SALON OF THE YEAR FINALISTS at the Professional Beauty Awards.
This is an incredible achievement for the salon and team as only 6 salons have been shortlisted for the whole of the UK.
After such a rollercoaster year, this really is an amazing achievement and testament to our incredible team here. We truly love what we do and are so proud that we continue to offer the best treatments and service in such a beautiful boutique salon.
We shall be off to London in October for the awards evening and celebrating with the best salons and spas in the country. 🥂

Summer Solstice offer is now live 💫

Laser treatment is a fabulous and effective treatment. It is however a treatment that needs to be treated with respect.

There is a thorough consultation before treatment commences and checks before each treatment thereafter.

Laser treatments can’t be had with an active suntan, there needs to be at least 4 weeks between prolonged (actively sunbathing) sun exposure or using sun beds and a laser treatment.

This can be frustrating when keen to get the fastest results and it can be tempting to say you haven’t been In the sun/on a sun bed when maybe you have.

I did a little experiment this evening to show the effects of laser treatment on skin that has been exposed to the sun..

This is from 1 weeks holiday exposure to sunshine.

There are 4 different tan levels that can be set on my machine from zero to heavy. My tan is active (less than 4 weeks old) so those settings had very if any effect. And caused the skin to burn.

You can have a sun tan and still have laser treatment, just be sure to allow at least 4 weeks between prolonged sun exposure and treatments 💫
