Working on improving joint stability and range of motion for the Tin Man 🤖😂
Ankle sprains usually occur in running when ‘rolling’ the joint, often causing an issue on the lateral aspect.
Rehabilitation should focus on gaining back stability and strength before more explosive movements.
The above exercise are intended for early, mid and late stage rehab.
Hamstring injuries are common in many sports, not just running.
Injuries mainly occur either at the muscle-tendon junction near the base of the buttocks, or further towards the muscle belly.
Strains are often thought of as happening during high speed sprinting, but can also occur due to prolonged, repetitive strain.
As recovery from hamstring injuries can be lengthy, strengthening work should be a combination of controlled eccentrics and sport specific work (plyometrics).
The exercises above are designed to improve the resiliency of the hamstrings:
• Split-Stance Single Leg Deadlifts
• Single Leg Bridge
• Nordic Hamstring Curl
These exercises can be progressed and regressed so make sure if you have any issues competing them, seek advice.
Patellofemoral pain is usually described as pain coming from the tendon underneath the knee cap. This can be aggravated after prolonged running or during squatting and kneeling.
These exercises can be used to build the tolerance of the tendon to movement and load.

Just over a month in and really pleased with how clients have been responding to treatment. Seeing people getting freedom back to doing what they want is why we do what we do.
Shoulder prep for a client later.
Although you can’t recreate a client’s symptoms, performing what you’re prescribing is a great way to establish how an exercise may feel, what may need to be tweaked and whether it’ll have the outcome you’re looking for.
RUNNING SERIES 🏃🏼
