It's been a busy one, thought I'd share a gift I made for a Christmas present..I love it!

A rabbit hutch fit for a king!! Have really enjoyed building this custom made hutch, a nice cosy space to curl up and keep warm.

Really enjoyed doing this one!!
My customer asked me to give her bench a kiss of life!!
It was a memory of her mother and had a lot of centimental value to her.
A lot of the wood was beyond salvage, so my mission was to save what I could and replicate exactly what I couldn't!
And here she is, a new woman!!

Variety is the spice of life!
Like most of us creators, we enjoy diversity and we have lots of different projects on the bubble!
I was asked to create some accessories recently for a wedding.
After working with the bride and the theme she wanted, we put together a package and came up with some beautiful rustic ideas.
All the wood used in this collection was naturally sourced from my local woodlands and salvaged from bits and pieces from my workshop...waste not want not. Only dust goes in the bin...well actually it doesn't, I use that too for wood filler!!

Working on this little beauty..its come with a few little problems, but nothing worth having comes easy!!
Carrying out a few repairs to draws before the fun begins and this preloved chest of draws will soon be ready to be re loved once again!

WASTE NOT WANT NOT!

I believe it sacrilege to throw wood away. It's such a diverse material, and can be used for so many different projects.
I have a pile of scrap wood and I try to utilise every peice.
With permission are photos of a truck I made for a little man's birthday.
The toy is suitable for 2 years plus, and was created with off cut material..another win..saved from the land fills!!

Thought you guys may find my upcyling a king size bed into a garden bench interesting. This beauty is currently available and up for sale for £150
Upcycling is great fun and its so benefical to our environment..but anything worth having doesn't come easy!
The bed needed stripping back down to bare wood, and although all the material was there,it needed cutting down and reconstructing to build a solid structure to creat the bench.
This bench has been finished in vintage white and sage.
