Yesterday I taught two classes in the most amazing studio.
It felt super refreshing to be teaching in a new space but most importantly teaching pregnancy yoga.
Pregnancy yoga is such a beautiful sharing I can't wait to delve a little more deeper into the practice with mamas to be.
I'm so excited for the next chapter to unfold. Watch this space for more classes launching soon.

Beginners Hatha yoga classes starting in Darwin.
I'm so excited to get started at yogalovecollective we are offering a beginner level class which is accessible for those who want to try yoga for the first time. Those who have dipped a toe in every now and then but also those who like the movement of the practice guided via the breath.
The practice is aided by the breath slowing opening the body throughout Asana and meditation.
We will move through seated and standing postures listening to our bodies allowing us to centre within.
No experience needed just an open heart to the light of this experience.

Ying yoga and sound healing l, Through recent interest I am delighted to share with you all that Craig and I will be holding an event at the beginning June 3rd. 6pm at the old school hall.
The gong is one of the oldest man made sounds, dating back over 5,000 years, playing an important role in ceremonies, rituals and healing in cultures including China, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Greece, India, South America and Africa.
The gong's sounds and vibrations have a quick effect on the brain and the body. They move us from our awake (Beta) state to a more relaxed and calm (Alpha) state, then on to a restful (Theta) state and finally to a deeply relaxing meditative (Delta) state.
They cause the brain, heart and respiratory rates to slow down and increase the release of melatonin, endorphin and dopamine chemicals that are linked to feelings of expanded mental clarity.

Prenatal yoga a practice uniquely designed for pregnancy to help promote optimum health of the body, mind and spirit.
Yoga helps unify the physical, emotional and spiritual growth between mother and that of the growing baby.
Prenatal classes will focus on pranayama (breathing exercises) meditations, opening of the hips, restorative poses , core and leg strength and relaxation.
Prenatal yoga can help support mothers throughout pregnancy helping future moms to become stronger and more resilient during and after pregnancy.

Fast forward a tough pregnancy and 7 months later I am ready to go. Yoga was the foundation of my daily routine while pregnant. It helped me mentally and physically in more ways then I imagined. Now a mom of two beautiful boys I am ready to share this offering 🫶🏻
I will be starting to teach pregnancy yoga at yoga love collective in Darwin. Tuesday 14th May. I am so excited to share this wonderful phase of Life with all new expecting mothers. It's such a beautiful journey and I am delighted I get to help and support new mums through the sharing of yoga.

Christmas yoga flow vibes with my buddy.
This morning yoga with the biggest one with a Christmas themed practice. We were snow flakes which became a snowman ☃️ all movements involved dancing horrible singing from me and yoga postures.
Followed my some monster truck playing on the mats.
Movement helps regulate my nervous system so why not help our little ones regulate theirs.
Then after drop off a postnatal yoga flow for me and this pudding.
Classes are launching in January. Booking is now open.

Absolutely over the moon.. Christmas came early for me with my new equipment haul for yogaflowwithlou.

There will be scheduled monthly Ying yoga evenings. Postnatal mom and baby classes and my beginners yogaflow as normal on a Tuesday and Wednesday.

Finding time with two boys is hard but essential.
Yoga helps my mind be clear and body to function 😉
Allowing space and time for my yoga practice makes me a better version of me.
I love practicing with the kids. The fact they see me moving my body providing myself with the self-care I require builds a foundation in them that they should move around be active and prioritize self care.
I like to involve them in my meditation and breathwork. Ezra now tells me to do deep breaths and corrects my practice.
To make the practice more child friendly we add their favourite toys hense monster trucks. I add the trucks into our postures and create a game to keep him engaged.
Sorry to my husband a mat generally lives somewhere on the floor of our house. 🧘🏼♀️

I'm a qualified pre and post natal yoga instructor and plan on sharing my journey back to fitness with you.
I am hoping to start a post natal yoga classes local in north Manchester bury in the new year.
I will be returning to teach my evening classes, where I teach hatha/ vinyasa , Ying yoga and meditation at the old school hall Greenmount. Classes are currently covered by Bettina.

For those of you who have booked on, please bring along warm clothing. The temperature has dropped outside and we will be still for 1 hour so please be prepared. Bring a pillow a hoodie and blanket.
I can provide mats and blankets however feel free to bring your own.
Please ensure you drink plenty of water before and after to help support the toxins leaving the body.
Please arrive a lil before the start time of 4-30pm to allow time for you to relax.
We will start promptly at 4-30pm

This week I tried Pilates for the first time
How I haven't tried it sooner is beyond me.
Thank you to the lovely Leanne. for guiding me through.
I really enjoyed the variation of practice to my usual flow.
Bring on my Pilates times.
I'm trying to challenge myself into new places and activities. Breaking the mould of the everyday routine.
Try it sometime you may surprise yourself.
Last week I decided to go paddle boarding at Hollingsworth lake in the rain. This was the only photo I got.
The water was ice cold luckily I didn't fall in.
The best part of the day was it was time for me.
My goal is prioritising time for me. It's difficult but important.self care is key.
In summer I developed a love of paddle boarding in the sea. I haven't stopped thinking about it since September.
I can safely say it's alot easier in the lake but alot more fun in the sea.
Thoughts of the day.-
1. I wish I could paddle board to work instead of driving
2. How have I just found paddle boarding
3. Don't fall. Balance balance
4. I like toast
5. Are we mad doing this in the rain
7. I love being outside and on water
8. This is grounding
9. I look a bit hippie today
10. My feet are freezing
