As we approach the very last whole-year group Year 11 exam, we want to congratulate and celebrate our students’ fantastic work (and keep going for those of you in exams next week!). Before half term, as part of our leavers’ package, we held a special breakfast, served by the Year 11 team, with tasty treats and celebratory music as recognition for their fantastic endeavours 💫
Congratulations to our Year 10 rounders team who competed in the Bury rounders rally last night. Our players of the matches throughout the tournament were Katya, Aimee, and Toni for their fantastic effort. Well done girls! ⚾️

Today, some of our Year 8 and 9 students visited Salford Quays with Cyberfirst. Students learned about opportunities and potential jobs in the future, participated in digital problem solving and sampled some of their amazing e-Sports equipment 🎮🕹️⌨️
Giving back to our community is a key part of what we do at as part of our duty to be responsible citizens, and last year, our Year 9 and 10s gave over 1,000 hours volunteering in the community to help others. What a fantastic achievement 👏🏻

As part of our Personal Development curriculum and supporting students to be safe both in and out of school, last week our students worked with Early Break UK to learn about the dangers of va**ng and harm reduction advice. A HUGE number of Year 8s celebrated their achievements in their rewards breakfast this week. A fantastic end to the half term, which has been a great 7 weeks for Year 8! 👏🏻
The first half of our Year 10 Geography 🌍students visited Cleveleys on Tuesday to study coastal processes and management in preparation for their Paper 3 exam. A great day all round. Well done 👍🏻
